Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Stopped here on the way from Chicago. Arrived 8:30 on a Friday and all of the external lights were off, it looked like it was abandoned. We would have turned around and left except we saw someone driving away with a smoothie. Entered the building to an empty store and it took a couple minutes for the employees to even realize we were there. When we mentioned the lights they said «oh, we must have forgot to turn them on.» It had been dark for a hour and half already! Employees were rude and my little sister ordered the same smoothie she always does but it tasted different than usual. We complained and they said «oh well.» Clearly these employees did not want to be there, especially since we were the only ones there. Owner should consider relieving the employees who clearly did not want to work or represent the company in a professional and helpful manner. We visited 6÷5÷2015.
Actual location was very nice and ¾ of our smoothies tastes great.

Great food, but slow. This is not fast food. It took 20 minutes to get my food, mainly because this place was understaffed when I was here. Not sure if this is typical, but it was annoying.

I stopped in while on my way back to Chicago from New Orleans and I’m glad I came here! The Jamaican Jerk Chicken was AWESOME and pretty spicy! The Mango Magic smoothie was amazing, and since I ordered a food item it was only $ 3! I want to bring this place back to Chicago with me!
I tried comparing this place to Jamba Juice, but this place is WAY better than Jamba!

Delicious food and great smoothies! Great alternative to fast foods. Regular Price is comparable to Wendy’s and the food quality is much higher. The smoothies are made from real fresh fruit and yummy flavors! A great lunch staple! And with the $ 5 lunch boxes and ½ price smoothies in the morning it’s pretty reasonably priced
