Just finished a Sun lunch here… They brought out food«willy nilly»(a plate to this table then one to that and so on versus all plates for one table at a time and in order of arrival). The enchiladas were HORRIBLE. No drinks were refilled and it took FOREVER to get checks even after we got tired of waiting and asked someone to get that job done. Then, of course, we waited forever for a refund on one order we paid for and then realized that they charged for items not requested or received. I went once before when it wasn’t rush time and it wasn’t quite so bad, but looking back now there was evidence that the restaurant doesn’t have any semblance of efficiency.

Liked this place! Strong margaritas, great staff, lots of food for your money. I ate the vegetarian«f» meal which was a couple poblanos stuffed with cheese. It came with beans and rice. Delicious. Everything came out piping hot. The guacamole and salsa was nothing to speak of but wasn’t bad, I’ve just had better. Staff was very pleasant and efficient. A good value.

The service was good. Until I got ready to leave and the manager was berating a poor server to hurry up and talking to her like she was a dog! Then when I got ready to leave the same manager Javier gave me shit because they overcharged me for cheese on something that came with cheese. And I had the gall to question it! The food was ok but I won’t be back just because of this jackass It wasn’t even busy. And I know it’s only .75 cents but it’s MY money you are overcharging! I left the waitress a 75% tip

When they were new, place has a lot of foods. As the time goes by, less and less on the buffet and pizzas has been taking too long to be refilled. Once it’s out, few minutes later it’s gone and guests will have to wait again for new ones. Service is okay, can be improved with a smile. I LOVE the original CHEESECAKE.

Because I live in Texas, I tend to give non-border states a break on their Tex-Mex. I do score on a few standards though. The chips were okay but I like mine served warm. The salsa was tasty, not hot, but this is Arkansas ya know. Had the chips been hot, then the cold sauce would have been kinda neat. I ordered some guacamole which came out a little acidic for my taste which just means it was prepped too early or stored too long. The beef fajitas were acceptable. The portion size was huge! Might have squeezed another star from me if there had been se homemade tortillas.

Just had dinner here. It was a disaster. We were seated in a back booth by the bar. Lighting so bad that you could hardly read the menu. The temp was 80 degrees on the thermostat. When asked if they could turn on the lights the waitress said sure thing! We remained in the dark. When asked for the second time if they could adjust the air the waitress again stated sure. Proceeded to turn on what she called the super fan! The temp dropped to 79 by the time we left. Our food was served very sloppily. Plates being passed over our heads and close to our arms while being told“careful these plates are hot”! I didn’t do a lot of complaining because I didn’t want to embarrass my family in public. With that being said let me tell you about our meal. My steak was tough and chewy and my shrimp had a very strong fish taste. My baked potato was very firm. Required a knife to cut it open, no toppings at all. My bill was 19.87 without a tip. This will be my last visit to mi pueblo! I must say that the chips and cheese dip was very good. Very sad experience. As we were leaving the another waitress seated more patrons in that area and guess what? They turned more lights on! Oh well, I guess that’s Marion for you!

This restaurant was great because the food was tasty and the service was fast. The downfall to this restaurant is that the chips were slightly burnt and the salsa was bland and tasteless. I recommend the fajitas, very flavorful and fairly priced.

Hot, Fast and Cheap, average Mexican Food however. Our waitress was quite efficient and the food arrived within minutes of ordering — even before the drinks had been served. I was disappointed in the Margarita — she had me upgrade to the«jumbo» size and it was just too much and the lime was a super sweet prepared mix. Besides that the glass was chipped with sharp edges, telling me the restaurant should pay more attention to the details. The food was hot and inexpensive, and there was plenty of it, all was without much spice or flavor. There are a lot of other food choices within a short distance that I would try before going back here.

If you are looking for a great deal for really good Mexican food this is the place. The lunch menu features huge plates of food(really fresh and delicious food) for about 6 bucks and change. I had the Chicken enchiladas verdes with rice and beans. The enchiladas were very good and the rice was delicious too, usually an after thought on most chain Mexican restaurant menu but this was very fresh and made with nutty, fluffy basmati rice. The beans were very flavorful and had been made fresh that day, I could tell(not like most Mexican restaurants where they taste and look like they have been sitting around for a day or two). I was really surprised by my husband’s chile relleno, it was actually an authentic chile relleno, and huge! A big Poblano stuffed with white cheese dipped, in a light batter and deep fried crispy, with a wonderful fresh spicy tomato sauce. Such a lot of value for such a small price. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating, even helping my husband practice his Spanish. I’m not sure all of the restaurants in the chain are as good, but this one does a great job!

This is the third time trying this restaurant. Food was pretty good when they first opened. It has since really gone down hill.

Great prices, good service for large groups on multiple occasions and they don’t mind splitting the check. People in my group loved the margaritas, BBQ fajitas. No complaints except all the groups(10 people) food did not come out at once.

Stopped in on road trip for dinner with kids! Great atmosphere and kid friendly. Food was good, nothing really special but a good choice rather than fast food. Two of our party had quesadillas and said they were very good.

We were stopping in Marion for the night and decided to try Mi Pueblo for dinner. Worst decision we could have made. We got sangria(which we found out was non alcoholic when brought out) and a margarita both of which were awful. The food was mediocre but resulted in a case of food poisoning. Needless to say Mi Pueblo won’t be somewhere I’ll eat at again.

Wow! I never expected to find great Mexican food in Marion, AR. This joint delivers the goods. Huge(and authentic) menu with all the favorite traditional dishes as well as a few I had not heard of. A business partner and I went for dinner and ordered Queso Fundito and the house special fajitas. All skillets were delivered piping hot and the flavors were fantastic. The cheese in the queso dip was actually bubbling when it was presented to the table. Not to forget, the enormous Margarita made with Cuervo 1800 was quite satisfying. Veronica, our server, was delightful and attentive. She even politely smiled at my partner’s corny jokes, even though I don’t think she«got» all of them. We playfully hassled her about the sign outside advertising the«$ 99 drink special»(missing a decimal). Not sure if this is a family-run restaurant but it had all the trappings of a really good west coast Mexican place… in Arkansas! It was so good we went back the next day for lunch! The chimichanga was quite tasty as well.

Marion’s motto is «Shop — Dine — Enjoy» «Shop» I don’t know about, but dine and enjoy was certainly delivered at Mi Pueblo. They offer an above average Mexican menu and food quality. Prices are very good and the drinks are large. The«Molcajete» is a giant volcano of meat! Tacos Mi Pueblo is a nice offering as well. Fast and friendly service. All around a good time in Marion.

Ask for the real Mexican salsa. It has some heat to it and cilantro.
