I have now eaten here twice for lunch with my wife and have had two very good meals. First time we ate here we each had a special pork shoulder wrap with cheese and sauteed onions that came with one side that was under $ 7 dollars and was delicious. Last weekend we went back and we shared an order of Hot BBQ Wings that were meaty, crunchy and well spiced. I had the pulled pork sandwich that came with home made fries and my wife had a salad with pulled pork on top. Both of our meals were great. While this restaurant has no ambiance, the food is great and the staff is enthusiastic. They have a few different types of BBQ sauce that they have on the table so if you want a traditional suace or a vinegar suace you can spice your sandwich the way you prefer. I hope this place adds evening hours(they close at 8) and gets a liquor license soon.

This is not real BBQ. No smoke here. Just plain cooked in your oven flavor. I tried the ribs a few weeks ago, today a pulled pork sandwich. $ 8.50 w/greasy fries & cold slaw a small sandwich for a big price. I will not be going back. :(

I have never written a restaurant review before but felt the need to after my experience. My wife stopped on her way home to pick up take out from here. Our first time(and last) eating here. She got burgers for the kids. Pulled pork, beans and sweet potato fries for me. I’m not at all a picky eater, yet I could only manage 2 bites of my items before they were thrown out. 1 bite to start and a 2nd because I could not believe how disgusting it was. The pork seemed like it was boiled instead of «slow smoked» as they claim. It was totally fatty and had no hint of any seasoning of any kind. The couple of squirts of BBQ sauce they put on not only weren’t enough to cover the portion of pork, but had a weird taste itself. I love sweet potato fries. These were AWFUL. I’m not sure if the cooking oil was old or what, but they had a nasty, chemical taste to them. Honestly, I was so disgusted I didn’t even try the beans. I have NEVER thrown out an entire meal like this. That’s why I had to write to this. I would give 0 stars if I could. Go to three little pigs, billy joes, dickeys, etc. so many good BBQ places around. Almost $ 50 for a family of four down the drain.

I’ve never written a restaurant review before, but I feel prompted to do so in order to prevent others from spending money on this place. Last month we tried this place and really liked the food. We even recommended it to a friend, so we were excited to order again. What a huge disappointment. The food is horrific now! I had dried-out pork loin and grilled vegetables that were burned beyond recognition, and the insides were pulpy, slimy & disgusting. My boyfriend had the flavorless, greasy, slimy brisket drowned in generic bbq sauce. Even the fries were burned. Two side dishes were omitted from our order. Although it may be hard to believe that anyone could mess up quesadillas, they undercooked and followed no recipe for quesadillas we have ever encountered. They were gross. Absolutely horrible experience.
