I keep keeping myself for forgetting about this place since I always walk away extremely satisfied. Tried the 2 fish taco lunch special and they were HUGE. It looked like to separate burrito tortillas and sadly I couldn’t finish them both. Weekly specials in addition to the normal menu and it will take awhile to get through entire menu. If you are under time constraint it would be wise to order in advance since it does take a bit but absolutely worth it.

I ordered a hoagie tray about last week for my son’s party this past weekend. I called to order it and the girl that answered the phone asked if I could email the order to Doug. I said no problem so I did just that and I had a couple questions in my email. I received a response the next day that just said Thanks. Okay… Then I received a call from Doug this past Thursday to confirm and clarify some things about my order. I called him back and we ended up making some changes. He said he was driving and could I email him these changes. No problem. I emailed immediately. Never got a response. My husband picked up the hoagie tray yesterday. When he got home, it was my original order. None of the changes were made. It was a total waste of my time to call him back and email him. Very unprofessional. Not to mention the presentation was less than impressive. They cut the hoagie pieces so big I actually ended up having to cut them in half myself. I sure won’t be using this place again even though the hoagies are USUALLY pretty decent. Oh also, they dont give out receipts so I don’t even know what my husband paid for.

I work for an organization that does a lot of business with Dads. The perk of being scheduled on a Saturday is a pork roll egg and cheese from Dads. They must deliver over 100 sandwiches and each one is fresh, and perfectly cooked. We also order their fruit salad and it too is fresh and colorful. I had a gift certificate and ordered a turkey hoagie with tomato and a grilled vegetable salad. The salad was incredible and the tomatoes on the sandwich were fresh. I’m happy my employer does business with Dads and I’ll be back for lunch again!

Simply put, Dad’s Deli is the best and only place to go for awesome food to-go around here. Whether it’s breakfast or lunch, Dad’s can’t be beat in terms of quality, flavor, and price. I typically try a weekly special(honestly the best deal for food in the area) and am never disappointed. Doug and his crew crank out orders like a well-oiled machine, so you’ll never wait too long for your food. The portions are always massive, so consider sharing with someone if you’re not starving! If you live ANYWHERE remotely close to Dad’s, you owe it to yourself to stop in for a visit!

This place has it all, great food, great coffee, and friendly service. It is quickly becoming a routine to stop there on my way to work for the best pork roll egg and cheese sandwich I’ve found in the area.

The food here is good but the costumer service is absolutely horrible! Every time we order at my work office the workers have a nasty attitude and they treat their costumers like crap. Also multiple times out order was wrong and they didn’t care. As many times as we’ve ordered from there you would think the attitude would change as we give them good business but they suck! And don’t even try to speak to the owner he is a nasty person with a nasty attitude and clearly does not care about his costumers or what people think about his business he is beyond rude. We gave this place a few chances because the food is good but not good enough to be treated like crap. We won’t be ordering from here again.

I had a terrible experience at Dad’s this morning. I ordered an Omelette like I normally do which comes with toast and hash browns, except this time they chose not to include the toast and hash browns despite the fact they are listed on the menu. When I got home I realized this and called them and I was told that they don’t include them with the order unless you specifically ask because«a lot of people are on low carb diets these days». Terrible customer service to act like it’s the customer’s fault for not asking for something that the menu said is included. When I spoke with Doug he was very rude, wouldn’t listen to what I had to say and hung up on me. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

My cheese stake was pretty good, great value for the cost. My wife enjoyed her omelette as well. You can watch as they prepare your food right in front of you. This is a great mom and pop place for those that hate chains like I do. There is no seating inside.

This place is great for breakfast or lunch. Great lunch specials as well, very reasonably priced especially for the amount of food you get. It can get pretty busy during lunch rush so I would recommend calling ahead to place your order, but it’s well worth the wait!

Today we got breakfast for the whole office for employee appreciation day. It was a large order and everything was perfect and ready in time to be picked up. We will definitely add Dad’s to our go to for office breakfast and lunches!

Great breakfast sandwiches with a very nice price. The whole staff was friendly– and they have Boost! I bought a gallon of the syrup to bring back with me. We came in from out of town and with only a few days and lots of places to eat, we chose to come here three times. If I still lived in the area, I would probably eat here once a week.

So I’m a constant Unilocaler. I use this app to find the best place for what I’m looking for. I read the reviews for this place, they were spot on. The food is good for the price and I’m enjoying my BLT for lunch but I was honestly surprised to find the negative reviews 100% true regarding the owner. This guy is a dick! I feel so bad for the girls working there. This man is snarky, snooty, and I heard him make a number of comment to his employees that were on par with the immaturity of a high school girl, similar to the movie Mean Girls… and micromanagement is not good! I was just passing through, and I came up with all of this in one visit. Another customer told me, don’t let this guy for you, he’s trying to be nice to some of his regular customers but he’s truly an asshole. I won’t be coming back solely based off of his poor attitude towards his employees, & I don’t support that type of abuse. I I would suggest everyone who works there to get a job where they would be happier. If that was my daughter or son he was talking to, he would get a beating(figuratively). If he wants this business to succeed, he needs to get out of the kitchen.

An excellent place for sandwiches of all types. The sizes are huge! Breakfast sandwiches available too. Check out their website for daily specials. Definitely recommend calling ahead to pick up your order because they do get very busy. They are open on the weekends, but check their hours as I believe they close early on Sundays.

The OWNER is a AWFULHUMANBEING and definitely deserves this poor review. Not to mention as you scroll down you can see other reviews that call the owner a bully. I love being a patron of local family owned restaurants but this one does not deserve your business. 1. The order taker took forever to take our order over the phone and needed more than one person to assist her in placing the order. We had a large order so that is understandable and we weren’t concerned. 2. My coworker ordered a specific sandwich, it is correct on the receipt and the sandwich is labeled correctly but inside is a Italian Hoagie. Absolutely nothing like what was ordered. 3. My coworker calls them back to let them know the mistake. They give her a hard time on the phone and do not believe her, and offer NO resolution for their mistake. She asks them if they would like her to drive there and show them the mistake… which is ridiculous enough to subject the customer to such scrutiny. 4. My coworker gets there and the owner does not acknowledge the mistake even though it clearly written on the wrapping what the sandwich should be. HEREFUSESTOMAKEHER A NEWSANDWICH, REFUSESTOGIVEHERMONEYBACK, ANDHASTHEAUDACITYTOCALLHER«a little girl who doesn’t know anything about good food» … how can you treat your customers this way. She wouldn’t know if your food is well made because you couldn’t even get the order right… Where does this guy get off… YOUJUSTLOSTOURENTIREOFFICEASPATRONS!

Awesome food here. I used to get party trays for clients when i worked around the corner and we would host«lunch and learns»… Their food makes everyone happy. Can’t go wrong regardless of the occasion.

Best bang for your buck I’ve seen in all of South Jersey. The lunch specials are always amazing, creative, and only $ 6. If they have a burger on the specials menu(they usually do) get it. I’ve paid 14 $ at a gastropub for a worse burger. Ignore the regular menu, just get their specials. You won’t regret it.

It’s the boxing fight, pardon me, the overpriced boxing event of the century and I was tagged as the host. My initial head count was at least 22 people. Eager to get that grill warmed up for the summer, I planned on grilling a few things, but thought I still needed more food. One weekend, while hanging out at one of my favorite eateries, Dad’s Deli, it dawned on me that I could order food from here. I would watch as the staff would prepare food for companies, or events. I would always say to myself that I wanted to be where that food is going, and I would definitely use them to cater any event that I may have. Well my chance finally came. Once the order was placed, I didn’t think about the food again. I knew Doug, and his staff was going to handle everything to perfection. I have watched the staff at Dad’s Deli prepare large catering orders on numerous occasions. I witnessed the precision and effort that went into putting these orders together, so I truly didn’t worry about anything; until I realized my wife made a snafu. She utilized the wrong lingo in south Jersey and unknowingly ordered roast pork instead of BBQ pulled-pork. It was a good thing I was off that Friday, yes… the day before the party, and was in desperate need of my turkey & eggs breakfast sandwich or we would have been in a for a shock. Deb and I noticed the mistake while discussing the order. She said ok, and made the change. I know it couldn’t have been that easy on the staff and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a tad bit worried but, they made it happen. The next day when I received my order we had six pounds of delicious pulled pork. Just goes to show you how these guys operate. Dad’s Deli provided me with a ton of food. We ordered 6lbs of pulled pork, 5 sandwiches, and rolls all for such a great price. Due to a handful of cancelations, we had plenty of food leftover which allowed my guest to take food home with them. Don’t worry, my selfish streaked kicked in. I had sandwiches for lunch and pulled-pork for dinner for a couple of days after. I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of product we had. Most importantly, I am extremely satisfied that my guest were well fed, and left my house with food in their stomach, and to go containers. I ended up grilling four burgers the entire night. My guest were extremely content with the food provided from Dad’s Deli and Catering.

It’s the perfect place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. But I highly recommend it for breakfast. My office is located right down the street, and when I first started my job I heard all of my co-workers raving about this place. The customer service is always wonderful. My first visit they apologized for making me wait and took my order. It was a busy lunch hour but they quickly made my sandwich for me. They do take phone orders so I’d definitely recommend that for any time of the day if you don’t feel like waiting– even though it was a small wait! Sandwiches are always delicious. Prices are SUPER reasonable and you usually get so much for your money. Also– it’s right behind Ritas. what else could you ask for?!

In a residential area, tucked behind another establishment is s rough building that houses a marvelous little take-out eatery! Scrapple, eggs, hash browns and a beagle for five bucks! Free coffee, generous portions and service with a smile! If passing through well worth the effort to find them.
