Mod pizza seems to want to be the Chipotle of pizza. Unfortunately, the pizza isn’t as well executed as it could be. With a nice oven, nice ingredients and such, they really have a good opportunity to make a nice pizza. I ordered a classic Mod pizza, and when it came out, I was disappointed with the crust. It has the nice char you look for underneath, but it was way too soft to the point picking up a slice made my toppings fall off. It reminded me of a soft tortilla. Even folding the slice NY style didn’t seem to work – it just kept drooping into a sad mess. I could TRY to fix this by ordering the pizza well-done, but why should I have to? So I give it 3 stars for the nice service, clean space, and good quality ingredients at a reasonable price. The pizza itself? Don’t believe the hype.

Should have trusted the reviews and visited this place sooner! As many toppings as you’d like for just one price! The toppings are always fresh, nobody judges your combinations(I routinely put about 12 toppings), and the pizzas are ready very quickly. Taste-wise, I am never disappointed– so much flavor, and the dough is perfect for the unlimited free dipping sauces(pesto sauce is my favorite!). Great selection of drinks, my favorite being their caramelized pear iced tea(super refreshing and not too sweet). The place is continually kept clean, seating is comfortable, and very spacious inside. But BEST of all, the customer service is quite possibly the best we’ve experienced!(Even better than Chick-fil-A, so that’s saying a lot!) More than anything, this always carries the most weight for me when reviewing an establishment, and in this case, it’s the cherry on the top. The employees are genuinely friendly and genuinely desire to help, serve, and make sure you have a superior dining experience. I can’t credit these fine women and men enough for the incredible job they are doing– it is definitely noticed by your customers and we appreciate you all so very much! We are blessed to have this place in Marlton. My family’s new go-to place for pizza. Give them a chance and visit now– you’ll be glad you did!

Wow cheap pizza that is custom build for the individual. We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza which was sort of spicy and good. Everything was fresh and made to order and we put it in the oven and comes out in 10 minutes. The service was nice that I went back to the counter and gave them a nice tip :) And food was great too.

This location is my favorite of them all. Every time I walk in, every staff member is busy working on a task at hand, yet they all welcome me with a genuine hello and smile. I always get a vegan style pizza with gluten free crust and the pie couldn’t be more delicious. All ingredient options on the line are always fresh looking /stocked. The employees and even the manager remember me and they ACTUALLY engage unlike most restaurants. This place has my back, so I will always be back! One love !

The pizza was good but the extra crust was annoying. It literally had an extra crust on it. So it was poorly formed and doughy. Of course I picked up and walked out … didn’t realize till I was home. Not earth shattering, just annoying.

I’ve been wanting to stop in this place since they opened and finally got the chance yesterday! I can’t say enough good things about the quality the food. I just got a pepperoni pizza and the garlic strips and even a simplistic pizza knocked my socks off. Fresh thin crust was superb. I wasn’t crazy about the garlic strips but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t good it just wasn’t for me. The staff that I encountered was super friendly and helpful. I wish that places like this existed when I was in high school because it’s just a great space. Super Sexy.

Modern, Modifiable, coMmodities. however you want to view it, it’s all good. Wanted to try their Pizza for a while, but didn’t because they don’t deliver(see note) and we were too lazy to go there. Walk in, see the list of custom pies and specials, tell the guy what you want, they make it, you pay, you eat, you smile, in that order. Think Chipotle, but for pizzas. I would strongly recommend first timers to come in person before ordering online because the portions are much smaller than you would expect. That’s the one of two bads. Three sizes include an individual, large and double large. For me, the individual was perfect for both price and amount of food. No breaking the bank. You essentially pay for the crust, but can then get whatever you want on it after that. For speed, they do premake crusts ahead of time, but after a turn in the oven, it tasted just as good as a fresh one with a slight char on the bottom from the ovens. The second bad is that there ae too many decisions to make and it’s hard to decide. like. we stood there for about 10 minutes contemplating what we wanted. A third bad, if you care is that they list the calories for each of their pizzas. I know it’s bad for me, don’t rub it in my face. The good, the personal, individual, pizza is great for two reasons. One, it’s sharable and two it’s under 5 bucks. Thus slightly negating second bad of too many options. Feeling quite peckish, we went with ONLY four pizzas, no drinks(they offer milkshakes, but appear to use chocolate syrup instead of chocolate ice cream, a big no no for the Mrs. And hardcore chocolate shakers.) Plain with pepperoni, roasted garlic rosemary and asiago(our custom), the Jasper(sausage, mushrooms, mozzarella), the Winston(jalapeño sausage, cauliflower, asiago, mama lils peppers. These are thin crust pizzas so don’t expect to get overly full, which is a common occurance when we order pizzas. All three delicious, my one critique was the cauliflower on the Winston was a bit large for manageable(polite) bites. Everything else was great. And as mentioned before, we essentially ate two small pizzas each, not overstuffed, and spent about 20 bucks total! That’s a win for me and a yes to returning.

If you like carnival pizza this is the place for you. The shells are pre maid peta shells. It takes 5 minutes to get your immatation pizza. You could do better in the frozen food section in a super market. Half of the frozen puck had no sauce. If your in the mood for pizza go to a real pizza shop.

I quickly ran out of adjectives for the quality of this place. On entrance, the staff is freakishly friendly(they must get forced to do that), and they’re all too happy to explain the ordering procedure. I got the«Mega» — the biggest option — with an excess of meat on it. You can see them shove it in a giant oven. It doesn’t take long to cook and prices are reasonable. The place has a nice design/layout, too. I practically lost it over how good the pizza was. It’s definitely a «try it for yourself» situation — extra toppings don’t cost you anything, so I suppose you’re encouraged to just go nuts. The whole thing filled me to capacity(not easy to do), and I left a very satisfied customer. Strange side note: I love the ice in the soda machine. It comes out in little balls that are great for people like me who are oddly into chewing ice(make your jokes about the phrasing of that sentence). Anyway, I’ll definitely be back.

Been here 4 times now and haven’t had one problem. Customer service is excellent. Each time we walk in, we are greeted immediately. Employees have always checked on us and encouraged us to come back as we are leaving. The employees seem to care about their product. When preparing to make my pizza, an employee took the pre-made pizza crust/dough off the rack, and it was kind of wrinkly. She made the same judgment and threw it out and prepared my pizza with a clean quality crust. Every time I’ve gone I’ve seen employees checking their drink station, organizing the shelves, and replenishing tea. The ingredients for pizza are decently fresh. Pizza has always tasted good. Just feels like this place is well thought out and operates smoothly. Edit: Have probably been here at least 15 times now and still feel the same way.

Was excited to try this place but not overly impressed. We ordered the classic for my kids. I ordered online and thought there were 3 sizes, so I ordered the one for 11 dollars, thinking it would be larger. Turns out it’s just two layers of crust(my own fault for not reading in detail). My kids did not like it and complained it was spicy, which it did have a kick to it. So three kids with half a pizza left(which it should have been devoured). I created my own and was very excited that roasted cauliflower was an option, except when my husband came home, my pizza was missing the cauliflower. I will definitely try it again because I like the create your own concept and the fact that it’s one price, no matter how many toppings you select. Hopefully we have a better experience next time!

MOD Pizza is another variation of the currently in vogue, Chlpolte style/formula of chains. MOD gives the customer the option to create their own pizza or salad or chose from some options on the menu. The pizza price is by the size(3 sizes available) and there is no limit on the options. The same goes for the salad. The store is very bright and clean and even reminds me a little of Chipolte. The staff at MOD Pizza was extremely friendly and helpful. I liked the pizza my wife and I shared. It is more like a flat bread pizza and the crust is crispy and thin. The salad was also good and the small was quite good for two people. Our bill was a little less then $ 14.00, so not a bad quick lunch for $ 7.00 each or so. 3.5 stars, better then A-OK.

I am definitely a fan! I’m all about trying new pizza places because it’s pizza, what can honestly go wrong?(I’ve never had bad pizza.) Anyways, my brother and I came here for dinner a few days ago, I was super excited that you can add as many toppings as you want on your selected pizza, and the price will still be the exact same. We ordered the Tristan and the Seasonal Mod which was a ‘Kasey’ without bacon(because we’re vegetarian). Both pizzas were super delicious but the Tristan had SO much mozzarella cheese. I mean I love cheese and all but this was literally a block of cheese on each slice of pizza. I will not be ordering the Tristan next time, BUT nevertheless, it was still super tasty. The ‘Kasey’ had toppings like balsamic glaze, brussel sprouts, onions, and jalapenos(instead of bacon) on it. I’m not a big brussel sprout fan but I will say that the pizza was still delicious! So many neverending options, I can’t wait to come back again!

Tis the season to be slightly generous by rounding up a Unilocal here or there. But in all seriousness there are multiple reasons why you might be a fan of this chain, and this location in particular. Let’s start with the basics. The pizza is a personal size of about 8 inches, a good lunch portion. The cost of about $ 8 is the same for however many toppings you might opt for. There are several signature pies, but all can be customized, or you can create your own unique circular dough concoction. If you are dieting and prefer a salad instead, they are also about $ 8 and the same pick your own rules apply. We walked in and were immediately greeted by just about every team member in attendance. From the beginning to the end of our visit every employee displayed friendliness and concern for our enjoyment. This may have been the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in a pizza joint. We scanned the wall menu and were guided through the ordering process by one of the staff members. We both decided to stick to the menu for the most part. But I couldn’t resist adding garlic(roasted) to my choice. There are also various items that can be drizzled onto your order, pesto, balsamic reduction, that sort of thing. Trish enjoyed her white pie that was called Lucy sunshine, mozz, artichoke hearts and 4 dollops or red sauce, one in each slice. I tasted and agreed it was ok, I probably would have requested ricotta and possibly garlic on it as well. My selection was labeled Jasper. This was a red pie with mozz, shrooms and spicy sausage. The addition of the at least 2 bulbs of garlic really upped the savory factor. The crust on both pies were tasty, not super thin but thin, not super crispy but crunchy on the bottom with just a bit if chew and a slight sourdough taste. But the sausage kept this from being great. If you ever tasted frozen pizza sausage then you have an idea of what this was like. If you are a traditional Italian sausage fan, try this at your own risk. I am a pizza snob, so I may sample other nearby spots before rushing back here. Or just go to my favorites in the area that I live(which by the way is the tomato pie Mecca of NJ) But for those who work nearby, or are shopping in this upscale mall, Mod is a solid and moderately priced option. I’m sure I will return at some point though to sample another and try one of their $ 3.57 shakes. 4 the whole is greater than the sum of its parts Unilocal

This place reminds me of a nicer & better 1000 Degree pizza. Pleasant, clean and casual atmosphere. Super friendly & attentive servers. I enjoyed my ‘Lucy Sunshine’ pizza — white w artichokes & dollops of red sauce. Vince liked his ‘Jasper’ pie as well but wasn’t too keen on the sausage(we brought it home for my dog!) Wed go back but I think if we just were in the area — not for a special trip out of the way.

AHH-MAY-ZING! There’s literally something for everyone. A fresh, new twist on a beloved classic. Ingredients are fresh and there’s no limit to the toppings, so go crazy. If plain is your thing, don’t worry. Even their margherita style pizza is delicious. Feeling saucy? The Calexico was made just for you; with grilled chicken, jalapeños and buffalo sauce. OMG! Want something different? The Lucy Sunshine has garlic, artichokes, Parmesan and mozzarella. Whatever your mood, MOD has a pizza just for you. Stop in and give it a try. Betcha can’t pick just one. UPDATE: After several visits and multiple flavor combinations, the staff and the pizza just keep getting better and better. No arguing over toppings; you can have as many as you want and all of the pizzas are personal size. If you haven’t tried MOD yet, you are definitely missing out.

Had lunch at mod pizza and weren’t blown away. Everything is customizable which is nice but overall the pizzas were just ok, especially with so many other great pizza places in the area. When you first walk in there is a Chipotle-like counter with the topping. You can see the pizza dough being flattened. It is the base for each customizable pie. Although it looks pretty lack luster the crust isn’t horrible. 2 size options one. The smaller is good if you want to try various flavors. The mod size is about a personal pizza size maybe a bit bigger with 4 slices. I had a buffalo chicken pizza with the white sauce, mozzarella cheese and chicken. It is topped with buffalo sauce after cooking. It was good. My first slice I loved and was raving over. But as it cooled down the whole thing became lack luster. I also found a piece of sausage in my slice which was gross since I don’t eat sausage. My mom and brother both started with a basic cheese pizza. My brother’s had chicken and roasted brussel sprouts. We hated the sauce. The red sauce tastes like the sauce you would get in a lunchables pizza as a kid. Couldn’t even eat our plain cheese pizza. The topping variety is ok. We love broccoli on our pizza but they had no broccoli which is a pretty common topping! The staff were nice, answered all our questions and gave recommendations. They tried their best to make delicious pizzas in a friendly environment. However the pizzas did not live up to our expectations, and we probably won’t be back.

I stopped by today to see if MOD had opened yet and was happily welcomed in for a free lunch as they prepared for their grand opening later this week. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! I had a create your own side salad and the Jasper pizza and both were excellent. I will certainly be back to eat here!
