I’ll keep it short and sweet as always. Chicken briyani was great! Chicken karhi great! Goat curry was filled with fat! No meat @ all. Total disappointment and a waste of $ 15. The place was clean but the SERVICESUCKED!

I am a vegetarian and a biryani fan! I have ordered many takeouts and even dined-in a coupled of times. Looks like they have renamed it as «Hyderabad Palace» now. I was a regular customer about an year and half back, I felt the taste of veg biryani deteriorated in my subsequent takeouts and completely stopped going there. Just this week, I thought of trying it again and It was amazing!!! To ensure that it wasn’t just an one time luck and I ordered it again few days later… and it was amazing and as authentic as it gets! Medium spice level suited my Indian taste buds. I had to wait for a couple of mins for my order, I din’t mind. Staff seemed to me nice and friendly. I noticed that their weekend lunch buffet didn’t have vegetable biryani but chicken and meat options were there. I hope they include it.

Went for dinner at 9 pm, they ran out of chicken biriyani, so ordered goat biryani and shrimp biryani. Both of them tasted very bad… They mixed some shrimp in veg biriyani and made it shrimp biriyani. Also ordered Chicken 65, which was good. Last I heard, they add Monosodium glutamate(MSG) into the food to make it taste good. This is a very bad ingredient health wise. Cleanliness: 2 stars out of 5. Food: 2 stars out of 5. Service: 2 stars out of 5. Bottomline: There is a lot of scope for major improvements in all 3 departments. They should eliminate MSG from the food.

I know its too late to write response again after almost year. But I took bunch of my friends to see if it became better after my first experience and when I spoke to a person at the counter regarding my previous experience, there was another guy who came out who calls himself as partner or whatever. He took a fight with us scolding bad words for writing a review not even thinking there was a girl with us. He pushed us out of the restaurant and I would like to take it notice of Unilocal but I was busy so I got to write this again so that customers are respected better. He said«I am giving refund take it and get the hell out of here» we are not that great at fights so we left without even taking food we ordered nor the refund. He also said that«There are many customers one customer will not be loss for us».

Great Indian and wonderful lunch menu beyond the obligatory buffet scene. Biryani with Chicken was wonderfully seasoned and the goat is terrific. They are not afraid to properly spice dishes when requested and the mango lassi is a great complement

Man this is crazy. it looks like an absolute hyderabad biryani. been here with my friend and we have tried both Chicken and Goat Biryani. I’d say this is one of the best biryani available in this locality. The cut of the piece also very good. Service is too fast, place is very clean and hygiene and finally price is not too high. I’d come back for sure along with all few more friends. You got to try this.

Excellent food! Best indian food I’ve found in South Jersey so far without going to Philly. I had the Paneer Butter Masala this time, but I’ve also had the Paneer Tikka Masala here too — both are absolutely delicious. I love that they have both on the menu! The spice level is true to order. I ordered mild and it was perfect. It had some spice in the flavor but was not spicey, if that makes sense — just a teeny tiny kick. It wasn’t watered down in any way like I suspect some other local places have done to me — was still FULL of flavor. Loved it! Will be back!

Excellent food and service. I took family and friends for dinner it was their first time having Indian cuisine would highly recommend definitely will return. Nice little restaurant tucked away in the strip mall. I work in area and would have never know if it wasn’t for Unilocal !!! They accept reservations too !!! And priced right for the quality of food !!

Not a very impressive lunch buffet. Some of the items(chicken biryani and veg biryani) were lukewarm. The waiter was nonexistent and I had to ask for naan and even for a water glass(they place water pitchers on the table but I had no glass). I noticed dirty plates on several tables and my own dirty plates were never removed during lunch. The naan was hot and delicious and the samosas, tandoori chicken and saag paneer were good.

I ordered take out and they got the order wrong. I called and had them correct it, but I had to go back to the restaurant even though I only live a block or two away. When I arrived for a second time that evening to pick up the corrected order I waited for 10 minutes for someone to get me my order. The portions were super small but that did not really matter because it was not good, not even the biryani. The chicken tikka masala tasted off– like something in it was spoiled. Won’t go there again.

Food is absolutely amazing . Some Indian dishes were something we had first time in this restaurant despite being a fan of Indian kitchen for years . Vegetable Biryani best ever load with carrots and amazing spices, great cauliflower in red sauce, out of this world taste, great goat and lamb dishes . Try the buffet for lunch but menu dishes for dinner were also amazing.

Very good food! Been there multiple times now for dinner and the food always tastes fabulous! I usually order the goat curry since that’s my ultimate favorite ! It was very flavorful And the meat was very tender every time. I would definitely recommend to others. Four stars because I would definitely want to see the lunch buffet improve now, but I only went to the lunch buffet once. Also very nice service!

One of the best versions of chicken tikka masala that I’ve ever had. Our full spread that night was: Chicken Tikka Masala, Veggie Biryani, Samosas, two orders of butter naan, and a cup of masala tea ~$ 35 total but had a groupon that left us with a $ 5.00 bill. Overall, I LOVED our visit and I’m really looking forward to going back. CONS: My complaint is that the prices are slightly high for the portion size, though it’s so tough to get great Indian food in most parts of South Jersey so hiking the price is understandable(you can’t pull that in North Jersey though – no way). I also think that regular naan(not specially flavored ones) and tea(extra $ 1 for a half cup portion… come on) should really be complimentary with your meal. They are staples the way rice and hot tea would be at a Chinese restaurant and should be free or very cheap, not $ 2.99 per order(one piece, cut into fours). PROS: The restaurant will adjust spice level to your tastes. We had main dishes at medium and it was perfect for us – enough spice for kick without it numbing your tongue to the flavors. The chicken tikka masala was creamy and rich, the chicken in particular was cooked perfectly. This dish can get ruined by rubbery meat even if the sauce is good but here it was done perfectly. The biryani was on point(good thing – if it’s in the name)…rice was perfectly cooked, vegetables were flavorful and the caramelized onions were awesome. It could have been a meal by itself. The naan was buttery perfection. Finally, the samosas were tasty, though could have been crisper and spicier. The service overall was friendly and attentive.

I came here for New Year’s Eve with my husband, brother, and sister-in-law. She made a reservation based on a phone conversation with an employee who stated the NYE buffet was going to be $ 11.99/person. We were happy to have found a good deal for NYE. When we got here, it was very crowded. We were the only non-Indians in the place for a while. There were a lot of very young children, and we were prompted to leave by a screaming baby directly behind me. Talk about a turn off. The buffet was nothing to write home about. As another reviewer mentioned, it was mostly vegetarian and chicken dishes. There was one fish dish — fish curry. The rice was very bland. Overall, I’ve had better. My brother went up to take care of the bill, only to find that he was charged $ 17.99/person for the meal. There was one small sign that said the NYE buffet was $ 17.99. My SIL was very upset, because we would not have come if she had been told on the phone that it was going to be that expensive. She went to speak with the manager, who reduced the price to $ 11.99/person. They charged my brother’s credit card twice, and refunded him cash for the first transaction, which I found very unprofessional and shady. I would advise against visiting this place, and we won’t be back. The food was barely acceptable at $ 11.99/person, never mind $ 17.99.

Amazing Biriani ! First time Ive had it and was delicious and great deal! I will definitely be back ! My boyfriend ordered the goat which was also very tasty, and I loved the fact that its BYOB. There is a wine and spirits shop around the corner so we stopped by and brought one back to have with our meal :) staff was very friendly!

FYI — This is my first review on Unilocal.I felt the need to write this one. I usually like the other paradise locations in NJ and MA and gave this place a try. I was very disappointed with my experience here. The only time I tried at Marlton, I thought the food was below par — not just the flavor quality but they got the basics wrong — rice was too dry(did not feel fresh) and not as flavorful. Gulab jamun was not fresh too(hard and cold in the center) and when asked for ice cream it was too hard and frosty(seriously, how can you get a scoop of ice cream wrong?). The preoccupied young lady did a poor service. With not many good Biryani places in south jersey, I seriously hope that this place improves and sets a higher standard.
