Excellent meals, service and atmosphere! What can i say? From the Owner, Ted, who is as nice and respectful to his customers as any food restaurant owner i have ever met! I love the combination meals including the General Tso’s Chicken to the Sweet and Sour Chicken. My wife’s favorites are: Garlic Chicken; Garlic Shrimp and the Beef & Broccoli! Mmmm Mmmmm good! Come in and enjoy! You won’t be dissapointed!

I got delivery for this first time from Shanghai Express. I’m new to the area and saw that this place had great reviews on Unilocal.I was let down tho by the food. I ordered sweet and sour chicken (my favorite) and it was over cooked. The chicken was dried out, and the batter was hard and dried out.
My boyfriend got the General tso chicken after the MANY recommendations
on Unilocal.He was not happy with his food either, The chicken was dried out, and the batter was overcooked. The sauces in both dishes good tho.
The service on the phone was very nice and the delivery man was very friendly as well. It just stinks we didn’t like our food!!! ugh =\

I used to work in the area and be a lunch regular. I haven’t been there in over 13 years and stopped in today. Updated décor. Friendly staff.
I ordered General Tsos chicken. This place makes it so much better than other places. Matter of fact no one makes it as good as they do.
It’s not breaded and it’s not deep fried. It’s made in a sizzling hot wok.
I crave this dish.
Well today I was back in the area and they didn’t disappoint.
Awesome. I need to get back to Marlton more often.
The hot and sour soup is really good too.

By FAR the best Chinese food in the area!!! The people who work here, especially Ted, are incredibly pleasant and the food is top notch. The food is always fresh and hot and they have a large delivery area whig is hard to find around these parts. I cannot say a bad word about this place — we will be customers for life!

Affectionately known as «Ted’s» by my family, we have been ordering take-out from here for years. The food is consistently flavorful and delicious. The owners (Ted and co) are amazing. Every time I visit NJ I try to go back to Ted’s to get what I’ve been missing so badly.
The cold peanut butter sesame noodles are my favorite along with chicken and broccoli and garlic green beans.
Oh yeah, and the mu shoo vegetables are DANK.

Been looking fora good Chinese ace since moving here a few months ago. Finally found it. A friendly staff is combined with good food. Good attention to detail even when bringing fortune cookies by having orange slices. Chicken and broccoli was very good. Nice little dining area. Just a real nice experience.

I have been going to Shanghai for years. I can tell you that the food is consistent and good. If you want gourmet Chinese food then go to PF Changs. This is a neighborhood place and it’s the standard place for my family’s takeout. My favorite is the General Tso’s Chicken, Chicken and Broccoli, and the Hot & Sour soup. As for the reviewer that complained about rodent traps. Most restaurants have rodents! How do you think exterminators stay in business?
Update: Just had lunch and they did a total renovation of the restaurant. Very nice!

Went in here one night to pick up some soup for someone who wasn’t feeling well.
Used the restroom while I was waiting and saw several home-grade rodent traps lining the walls.
Apparently they’re too cheap to even use a professional exterminator.
