Boulevard Motel

An adorable motel! I have had so many horrors from booking at motels that were a «good deal» and I was really skeptical. Upon arrival, I checked in a parked in my numbered spot. Walked into my (which already had the AC on — it was 93 degrees out!) and was so relieved to see how clean it was! It’s a small room & bathroom but it has just what a couple needs, a chair, desk, FLATSCREEN TV w CABLE!!!, an AC unit that actually works and a small bureau. Everything was so clean and I was so relieved! The bed was so comfortable I slept better in it than my own bed at home. It was a great deal & I got free beach tags for the day! They have coffee and pastries out under the tree in the morning which was there when we checked out at 11am — so no waking up at 7am to get the free breakfast like most hotels! I loved it and will be back!

This is not luxury by any stretch of the imagination. The stars are all for: great value, nice owners (family lives on the property), nicely kept grounds, and location. It wasn’t the biggest room (OK it was tiny), or the newest. But they had a nice flat screen TV with good channels, cold AC, and let us do 1 night on a Saturday night in August for $ 130 including tax (try that anywhere else in Ocean City). Everywhere else I looked was at least $ 200 a night. It’s literally right at the light when you get off exit 25 of the Garden State Parkway. The 34^th St bridge is also right there– it’s a 5 minute drive into OC.
