My husband and I go here for dessert, the crème brûlée specifically. Always delicious and the space is beautiful.

Well, dining here was rather more unpleasant than we had expected. The food was adequate but not wonderful; out of our party of four, we had a range of fish and pasta and none of us were terribly impressed. What really made the evening unpleasant was a rather inebriated party of eight who were seated right behind us about 20 minutes into our meal. From that point on, none of us could even hear ourselves chew the toast that came with our appetizers let alone conduct a conversation. When we expressed our dismay to the server, we were told that the party had already ordered a $ 1000 worth of wine, and that there was nothing they could do. Alas, we’ll leave this restaurant to big spenders with more money than taste.

In town for business and Capers was recommended by the hotel staff. All I can say was the food is amazing!
I had the butternut squash ravioli with chicken and spinach soup and it was cooked to perfection. My waitress Katherine was very attentive and informed on the variety of options offered.
Highly recommend.

Seriously. If you want a super large, hearty, «value for your money» breakfast then ditch the idea of Perkins or Scott’s (where they burns scrambled eggs consistently!) and eat here. It’s the only place my wife and I eat breakfast when we’re in Marquette, and we split the meal and are stuffed! And, the bacon! Ohhh, the bacon! Big thick strips that a lumberjack would eat. The décor is extremely nice. Dark wood from floor to ceiling. There was only one time I was there when something was off kilter and that was when they would not clean the floor between table guests. If was so funny I took a picture of it. The new table was walking over toast! Which, happens to be super yummy toast! Try this place for breakfast and you just might become a regular.

This is a breakfast review so use my star rating appropriately. *Very* friendly server and on the ball with keeping my coffee filled constantly. The coffee was delicious and they were happy to fix me a to-​go cup of it when I left. Also, I was pleasantly surprised with the huge amount of hash browns that came with my meal. Good pricing for the other breakfast offerings compared to other restaurant/​hotel combos I’ve dined at before. Dinner pricing seems quite high so I would hope the service would match my breakfast experience if I were to give them a try in the future.

Very classy place. Excellent food and decent service. Had the Cornish hen. Would have given it 5 stars but sometimes the wait staff forgets to refill coffee.
