Service was prompt and friendly! I had the risotto and my girlfriend had the venison. Both were delicious. No problems when we had to push two tables together to accommodate more guests. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice dinner for two in Marquette for around $ 50.

The Piedmont has quickly become a favorite. Terrific wine selection. Thoughtful, well executed menu. My favorite is the Lamb Pappardelle. It is well complimented with olives and citrus. The service is attentive but not overwhelming. The atmosphere is classy but casual. Such a welcomed addition to Marquette.

Not impressed. Friendly but very slow service. We visited on Labor day 2015 around 10 am. Restaurant was quit full, but no people waiting. Still the staff and kitchen had trouble handling everything. There is a wide variety, in obvious, breakfast options. And although not listed it wasn’t a problem to substitute the potatoes for sliced tomatoes and to to have an egg white omelet. One thing about the omelets: the filling is not moulded into the egg. The egg is made and than the filling is dividend over the egg. Not what I call a omelet.

Four of us went together and ordered a lot of different items. It was all good! Appetizers, main course, salads, wood-fired pizzas, and drinks. The stated niche of the restaurant is northern Italian rustic. This is an improvement over the old Capers which used to occupy this space. The ambiance is less stuffy, but still refined and the food is more imaginative. Service was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere is appropriate for a nice dinner with friends or a romantic dinner. Probably not so much for kids.

Great atmosphere, wood-fired pizza, and asparagus with the egg. Delicious! Will definitely be back!
