Very good food for a whole in the wall chineese restaurant! We ordered shrimp and broccoli and kung po chicken, both were very tasteful and you get a lot of food for your buck!

Good food! Not many proclaimed chinese buffets or restaurants are actually run by Chinese this part of town. most r Vietnamese… so it was nice to have Chinese food by Chinese ppl lol… dont order anything with lobster it was bad and not good… spit out your mouth bad… but i had ordered from this place on a half dozen occasions and thats the only bad experience i had

Love this place. Would camp out if I needed to not that it’s necessary. The price for the food is very nice. I cal my order in and my food is always nice, hot, and ready when I get there. Killer steam dumplings.

Basically this is the same as every other quick-​serve takeout Chinese food place in the area.
Cheap, quick, greasy/​salty/​sugary, but delicious.
You can either call ahead and pick it up, or walk in and order something. Like Jeff explained, it typically takes 10 minutes or less, and they give you a TON of food.

I love Hong Kong!
Its a nice little Chinese restaurant right before you enter Westwego. It is mostly take out food. The best thing I like about this place is that when you order your food, they cook it right in front of you and it only takes about 10 minutes.
The quality of the food is pretty good for takeout. And the prices aren’t bad either.
Another thing I like is the amount of portions they give you. I can get about 3 meals out of one order of one of their combination plates.
Just keep in mind, this isn’t «5 star» Chinese restaurant food. However, for a small little family operation, its great for a quick takeout meal.
