This place used to be Kims and I guess they did a upgrade and decided to change the name as well. They offer the same thing as far as I know just with a different restaurants name. The food is still good as far as I’m concerned and I’m glad they kept it the same. The same dish I enjoyed in the past is still on the menu and taste the same. They offer a little more on their extended menu, but I didn’t venture out and tried any of it. When you know what you like from a specific place you stick with it since that’s why you’re there to begin with. Sometime this place is nearly empty and I think that turn people away. Don’t let it! Have a seat and order the food; you’ll be surprised. While this isn’t my top choice to eat it’s still good for what it is. I like their Com Ga Quay the best, but their noodle dishes are good too. It has a nice home made taste to it and doesn’t taste like they just bought a egg noodle package and boiled it up. Their roasted duck are good as well. We usually buy a whole roasted duck and it last about 2 days at our house. The service here is ok at best. They’re not as friendly as they should be even with regulars, but I don’t really care. Just order your food and speak up when you need something. It’s a small enough place to get the waiter/waitress attention without making a scene.

This place advertises Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and Japanese food. In reality, they now only have Chinese and Vietnamese food. The last time we ate here, they had just lost their Thai Chef. We were very disappointed because, in all honesty, the Thai food was amazing. So good I didn’t want to review it in case too many white people came and they had to change things. But sadly, they no longer have the Thai chef. And after trying their«sea Fauxd» plate, I don’t think they have a Chinese chef either. I say sea fauxd because it was mostly fake fish. K-rab(fake crab legs), fake scallops(fish and corn starch balls, and fake fish which looked like boiled potato slices but had a rubber texture. There were 2 shrimp and 3 mussels and 3 pieces of rubbery calamari(I swear they squeaked when I chewed them). I spit out the only mussel I tried. It was rubbery and very spoiled. When I asked the waiter to identify the stuff on the plate, he laughed and said he didn’t know what all of is was. Speaking of which, the waiter could NOT have been more bored and inattentive if he tried. Mostly playing with his phone or laptop. Someone stuck their head out of the kitchen and told him to refill our drinks. Supposedly, they are closing the restaurant next month and putting in a bowling alley. They will move to a much smaller space but I doubt it would be worth trying them again. When we finally got our bill, the waiter informed us that we were the last customers of the day and that they were closing to have a private party. If you do go there before it closes, you might want to stay away from the bathroom stalls. All of them had brown crusty stuff on the seats. Just what you want to see before eating faux food.

Came here again tonight !!! I got the panang curry dinner portion and it was a lot of food! The curry was delicious! My brother got the Com Xa Xiu and it was still good from what I remembered. My gramps use to get the com xa xiu all the time when I was a little girl.

To be completely honest, I’ve always been a fan of this restaurant when it was still called Kim’s restaurant, but now that they’ve refined the menu and added Thai dishes, I love it even more. I went there with my family(all fans as well) when they reopened and opted for some new items on the menu. Lets just say that by the end of dinner, everything was gone, our stomachs were full and we were fully satisfied. Some dishes were served family style but for the one that wasn’t, we just picked off the plate. Our dishes included: 1. «Com ga quay» — crispy half chicken served wi
