I consider myself a snowball aficionado. I was extremely unimpressed with the quality of their snowballs. The ice was awful because it was super crunchy and not soft at all. Every single bite had a slew of crunchy ice. I ordered chocolate which was a huge mistake because it was that fake tasting chocolate instead of Hershey’s like most local stands use. They are very close to home so I am sad about it. I waited for 10+ minutes with only two customers ahead of me to get a really unsatisfying snowball. The stand name is awesome though! Sad times.

Scuba Steve’s is open 7 days a week from 1 – 8 until May. The hours extend to 12 – 8 in May. Also open on holidays like Easter, Father’s Day and Mother’s Day from 3 – 8. If you find the weather is funky its best to make a trip earlier before the stand closes early due to lack of business. We offer any flavor combination at no extra charge along with any flavor as sugar free or cream for .50 cents extra. If there’s any questions about flavors or possibilities it’s always good to ask because chances are whatever your asking for will be accommodated. Scuba Steve’s opens on March 1st every year hot or cold and closes late October early November for the season.

Interesting little hole in the wall snoball stand in Marrero. Heck, you can pimp your ride while enjoying a snoball(there’s a tint shop in the same place… they also do JP brake tags). Cheap snoballs, which you can get stuffed with soft serve ice cream for $ 0.50 more. I recommend the Cotton Candy flavor, stuffed. Yum. They do not have any cream flavors, but they do have sugar free & clear options. Oh, and there is another menu of milkshakes, funnel cakes, sundaes, nachos, etc., if you aren’t in the mood for a snoball. I’ve never been able to figure out who goes to a snoball stand and purchases something other than a snoball, but it’s an option. 3 stars for being fairly average as far as snoball stands go, but I’m bumping it up to a 4 since it’s near my house, and thus convenient when the snoball craving hits.
