Marshfield Inn

If could give it zero stars I would. The hotel smells like smoke all the time. the bathrooms are dirty and small, with two towels and two wash clothes, the bathtub is covered in a layer of grime, and there is no stopper in it so that you can’t actually take a bath. The showers have two temperatures. cold and lukewarm. The curtains had holes in them. My friend was staying in a nearby room, where it was very cold. When we found out why, well this is interesting. They had cut a hole in the wall for a large air conditioner, removed that one and gotten a smaller one, but they just used card board to fill in the walls around it. there was literally holes in the wall. also, there was a particularly angry couple in the room adjacent to ours, screaming and cussing at each other when we arrived, and the walls are so thin that we could hear them perfectly, the cupboard was missing both doors, when we tried to ask when our friends checked in, and what their room number was, we were told that they had checked out at nine thirty in the morning. they had not. the people that run the hotel barely speak English so it was really hard to even get a room in the first place! Also, the ceiling had a tissue shoved into it to solve a hole.(edit)also, the soap in the bathroom appears to have been taken from another hotel. Some place called the roadway inn is missing soap. I might add, our friends told us that when she called ahead, she had said that she was the only person staying in the room, but when someone came along with her to help her move her things, Th man at the desk got angry that there was another person there, like he was going to make them pay more for just another person existing in the room.
