Good people own this place but it has a bit of rough feel to it as you enter Martin City. Residents have fought hard to remain a holdout for rabble risers, gun slingers, and those who are not interested in political correctness. It is a proud group who are not particularly fond of outsiders. One thing about Montana is that the open spaces encourage you to be «you» and not someone your not. Despite the run down exterior appearance the inside can be warm and inviting for people willing to give it a chance or just want to cool off for a bit from Summers full glair. The name originates from two mounted deer at the front of the bar off to the right. You will have to see it for yourself to catch the rest of the meaning. Interior tables are simple, much like the establishment itself, made of out of timbers and 2×4’s. Put together by patroons while sharing laughs long before my time(I will have to get the real history on this place sometime). This is about as close as you can get to a working ghost-town in modern day America. I have been to the real ones. If you feel a little uneasy walking up to the door, you should. Just remember… be nice, be friendly, and have a good time and so will everyone else. Do you really think the old settlers walked into a bar without a concern? Enjoy.
