Worst /slowest customer service ever. Avoiding eye contact with people in line is RUDE!

Not bad, but much worse than when it was Longs Service is kind of a shake of the dice.

CVS on Alhambra Avenue in Martinez is almost like an old-fashioned drug store in terms of friendly, efficient customer service. The pharmacy staff and Bernie, the pharmacist who manages the department and the other pharmacists, are simply wounderful, extremely helpful and always concerned about making certain their customers medication needs are met as quickly as possible. If you have a new medication, they explain in detail what the new drug is for and any possible side effects. It’s a pleasure to do business with all of them.

I will not shop at this store as long as Neesa is the store manager! Using coupons at this store is like pulling teeth when she’s on duty! She came to the front and laid out all of the things I was buying with the corresponding coupons and made sure they all matched and picked one she didn’t like and said you can’t use these. I took those out of the pile I was buying and left the store. She’s got such a snotty attitude and while I live right around the corner I’ll be shopping at the Martinez CVS on Center from now on. I will also be calling corporate in the morning to formally complain about this aweful manager.

This CVS replaced a Longs pharmacy, and it is a welcome addition to the Virgina Hills shopping center. It isn’t the largest store, and I walked in with a list of about 5 items and unfortunately only walked out with 1. But they are a good neighboorhood store for drugstore needs — plus they sell their very own brand of cookies! Works for me :)
