Perfect massage shop! Kenny is the best. I go to see Kenny once a week and she helps release all the tension and knots on my upper body. Kenny and her staff are friendly and always accommodate my schedule.

Best deep tissue and pressure point massage. I have four herniated disc and getting massages here do wonders for my back. Clean and professional. Very reasonable priced. $ 50 for 1 hour body and $ 25 for 1 hour foot massage.

Sciatica caused by a herniated disc in my lower spinal column was extremely uncomfortable, after hearing surgery could potentially create more problems I turned to massage therapy. Admittedly skeptical at first but I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. Much more energy and access to muscles I didn’t know existed. I strongly recommended Sunrise Health Center they don’t discriminate based on lower income and truly care about their patients.

A real massage. Great value, friendly staff. Deep therapeutic. Would recommend to anyone. Prices make you feel guilty so I always tip my way out of the guilt. A true family spa.

The hours say they close at 10pm yet the last appointment for a foot massage is 8pm. They wouldn’t allow a 9 on appointment. Lady was very rude on the phone guess why the saying goes ya get what ya pay for.

Still solid but pricy compared to other places in the area, so it only gets the occasional nod.

Great experience and great value! Not sure how they do it at their prices but be sure to give an hourly tip rather than a % tip. Great place I highly recommend for a set of hands on your feet or back. Probably would go to a higher end spa establishment to have any specific issues worked on as communication could be an issue here. I will be back!

Well I was a little dubious about this place. But two friends told me it was good, so I decided to check it out. The first time I went I had a 50 minute regular massage, it was just ok. Then a friend enlightened me and told me to ask for the $ 40 foot/back combo, and I have to say I’m a fan! Leo did a great job working on my sore muscles and the massage is 80 minutes long! Quite the deal. My advice is go for the 80 minute combo and ask for Leo if he’s there.

Sometimes what you want and what you get are two VERYDIFFERENT Things… this time around, I got EXACTLYWHAT I WASLOOKINGFOR and got a heck of a deal! :D I’m spoiling myself on the cheap this week(spring break). Yesterday, I was at another hole-in-the-wall massage place on the other side of town. Excellent deal, but sometimes you get ONLY get what you pay for. TODAY: I asked for«A-Jec»(sp?). I was a little early for my appointment, so I figured I would just chill in the front for 10 minutes. No such luck, the young woman came like a ninja from the darkness and offered me a strained smile and a welcoming gesture towards the curtained off area. I communicated that I had an appt, but all I got in response was a smile and a firm hand on my shoulder instructing me to sit down. I was immediately provided with a lukewarm bucket-o-water for my feet. Cool, whatever, keeping busy. After 5 minutes, I was certainly relaxed, but my feet were getting pruney and the water was approximately room temp. No biggie, I just took my feet out of the water and put them up on the stool in front of me. This provoked some excitement from the staff. The young woman came to my chair-side and reminded me to put my feet back into the water. I explained that the water was ‚“not hot… cold. Not good… doesn’t feel good.” She was very understanding and returned just as fast as she came, with a fresh HOT bucket-o-water… *ahhhhhh nice* Just moments later, a very muscular gentleman made a beeline for my recliner chair and IMMEDIATELY began the regimen(1 hour foot reflexology– $ 25). He was NOT person that I had an appointment with, but one can’t be too picky with such a great deal. OMFG, «Leo»(I got his name after) is a no muss-no fuss deep tissue robot. He stretched me, used his elbows to separate my muscles, used pressure points to release tension and basically treated me like a rag doll and made everything hurt(in a good way). Because I didn’t cry, he worked out every kink and every knot in my body. This massage EXCEEDEDMYEXPECTATIONS! I could not have asked for a better fit. I asked for«strong» and he put his elbows into it(literally). I tipped 40% because he was AWESOME! I feel like a noodle, no pain no gain. THANKS«LEO»! :D Pros: Competitive Prices(times are tough). Quiet atmosphere(usually, they try to be spa-like) Open LATE(until 10pm weekdays) Cons: –HIGH Staffing Turnover –When staff is bored, they huddle around the guy who’s working(my guy) and chit chat and until another client comes in. Usually distracting and rude, but LEO was so good, it just didn’t matter this time around. But in general, it’s pretty tacky and totally unprofessional. PS — OFCOURSE I will be back! Probably later this week: D

This place is fine for a foot massage, but don’t get a massage. The place is clean and decorated a little nicer than most foot spas, but you get what you pay for. They used Suave lotion on my body and a mystery concoction for my neck and face. The Suave was unscented, but the other stuff REEEEEEKED. I had to go home and shower immediately and I can still smell it. It’s a really strong old lady-ish smell. Despite the stench, I did walk out of there more relaxed than I was when I went in. I think I may have some major bruises tomorrow though. The woman who did my massage had some powerful fingers.

I have a spastic muscle in my neck that when it seizes puts pressure on my spinal cord. About a week ago, having been in pain for a full week prior, i could bear it no more. I began to call all local message places in Martinez/PH– the first 4 didn’t answer their phones. After reading the reviews about foot messages I called and asked if they did body/neck messages– they did and had an immediate opening! Drove out there and explained(again– as I stated on the phone already) I mainly wanted a shoulder and neck message for my spastic muscle. The lady at the front count brushed me off and asked if I wanted a boy or girl? hmmmm I said female– and was escorted into a room. I estimate my masseuse to be about 98 lbs, but manhandled me like a gorilla. I told her 3 times to be softer… Her techniques were odd and nothing I had experienced before. THEN… something I didn’t expect– she straddled me, and began to do a buttock message!!! ugh… I tried to tell her my pain was acute and in my neck– but she could not understand me at all. She stopped for a minute, going to my lower back, then returning to the butt… and rough! I think she was mad that I had cellulite or something. Finally, I think my body language said it all and she stopped. Longest 45 minutes of my life! Did I mention they have no message oil. they use Suave lotion:( I began to wonder if this was a legitimate message parlor and based on the big fat white man walking in as I was leaving– wonder less.

This is the deal of a lifetime! I have had the foot massage a number of times and have never been disappointed. A decent tip is definitely in order.

I’ve been there 3 times since they opened earlier this year. Each time I had a different person. Very relaxing setting — soft music, dimmed room w/4 low cots. There’s another adjacent room that I’ve never been to. Can’t beat the price — $ 20 for a 1 hour ‘foot’ massage which includes ½ hour on your face, head, arms, shoulders, back, etc. Don’t know if this is just a grand opening special or if this price will continue, but it’s well worth it compared to other places that charge $ 50+/hour, but offer frivolous amenities. Couple of suggestions for them though — the attendants need to be a bit more personable and at least introduce themselves(none of the 3 did) and smile or act like they like their jobs; secondly, their website needs a lot of work, in more ways than one. Would have given them 5 stars otherwise.

The special $ 19.99 Foot Massage sign caught my eye and so my girlfriend and I decided to give them a try this morning! We were not disappointed. I had Paul and his pressure is pretty strong, but that is how I like it. The foot massage was good — they massage your head, your arms, your calves and your feet. Then, they ask you to ‘roll over’, the chair is then fully reclined and you are in for a 10 – 15 minute body massage. My shoulders and back feel great. The chairs are comfy, the room is dim and the music was soothing. I recommend this place and will be back.

I had gotten off a double shift and my feet were killing me. I stopped at the chevron on pleasant hill blvd, and I spotted this place from the gas station and I thought I would give it a try. I walked in and the first thing I noticed was the atmosphere was very relaxing; the music and the soothing colors immediately started to make me feel better already. The receptionist was very nice she offered me some water & a seat while I was waiting. I wasn’t expecting a very good massage from a woman that small in stature. But she was very capable and I received a very good massage and afterwards my feet were no longer killing me. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good fix.
