Great Clips

I wish I remembered the girls name, she was a young Hispanic girl, but all I know is Is have been seeing red since lasts night… I walked in knowing what I was doing. I had pretty long hair, almost mid way down my back and went in to get a pixie cut (Its was DEFINITELY time for a change.) I went in and saw only one girl working and thought she was going to do it. She was cutting a man’s hair at the time but she seemed thorough, asking him questions along the way. He was almost done and then this young Hispanic lady walked out from the back and took me instead. Everything was fine she was super sweet and we were joking back and forth because, well, in the situation that you are cutting off your long locks you have to have humor to get you through the change! So she does the back of my head and starts going towards the front. As she was cutting we were having small talk, I asked her how long she has been doing hair and she told me 3 years… I had the picture in my hand for her to see how I wanted it. (I do understand that when showing a hair dresser a picture of what you want, it MOST LIKELY wont come out exactly like the picture. TOTALLY get that!) But she started cutting more and more and I was siting there wondering WTF she was doing… the front «side burn» part was supposed to be longer, framing the face with nice bangs and a shorter sides and back. But she KEPT CUTTING after I told her where the long part should be. I was LIVID! She cut the side really short where the fringe was supposed to go, I told her, you just cut where the long part was supposed to be… and SHE CHUCKLED… DO YOU SEE ME LAUGHING?! My face instantly dropped… I was pissed. I think she knew I was pissed too because her demeanor changed, but she kept cutting. When she finished, she asked how I liked the back, it was terrible but I didn’t want her to touch my hair anymore… So I said it was fine. I walked away to go pay… I should NOT have paid, I even gave her a $ 4 tip… I am going to call and try to get my money back. I was so unhappy with the crappy bowl cut this girl gave me… How can you say you have been cutting hair for 3 years and end up with something so badly?! Her manager needs to have a SERIOUS sit down with her… It was terrible. I have been going to great clips for over 10 years and NEVER have I EVER received such a HORRIFIC hair cut. It looked like I had a bowl cut with the CHOPPIEST layers ever… It was terrible… She needs to not be on the floor.

I really appreciate the way Great Clips keeps notes on how one likes their haircut. My favorite stylist moved to this location along with another good hair professional she trained. So I will usually make the longer drive so my hair is cut by my favorite person. She is what exemplifies great customer service. I try and always emulate it also. Always make the customer happy you came to see them. Make sure you do a good job and got the extra step.

First experience here was a 5 star. Crystal cut my hair and it was perfect. Time to get another cut but Crystal wasn’t in, ok no problem. Got an older Hispanic lady who never gave her name. Haircut was horrible, uneven choppy, just horrible.
Went in two days ago hoping Crystal would be there but no such luck, just the same lady. So I’m thinking everyone has a bad day right? I believe in second chances. Monumental mistake. This is worse than the last. She rushed through the cut, there are huge chunks of hair that she missed. In addition, she had a real snippy attitude. DO NOT let this woman cut your hair. She doesn’t know what she is doing and she doesn’t care.

I have been coming to this location for over a year now and every time I have a great experience. I get my haircut from Melissa and she’s always very friendly and personable! I would highly recommend this location and especially Melissa!

It was such a bummer. I rarely write reviews and hate to write a bad one. However, there are so many independent hair cutters in area that would welcome business while this location appeared «put out» by us wanting a haircut. The front desk person was cold and seemed uninterested helping us. We put our names on a list to be seen, but had walked to the site next door and missed our name being called. When w came back in we stood at the counter to see when we might be seen. No one acknowledged us, so I asked and under her breathe she speaks to other employee but not to me. She says” that’s him «. Referring to my 8yr old. I asked again… she said, with attitude «I caked your name!» I said ok, well how long at this point. .and suddenly there were 3 people ahead of us. How does that make sense? And honestly I would be fine with it, but she was so rude. I walked out. Such a strange experience

I get great service with a smile. I love the App that lets me check in before I show up.

This is now my go to place to get my hair cut. Extremely professional and efficient, they keep track of how you liked your hair so you’re not so dependant on having exactly the same stylist every time.

I’m usually a barber shop guy from LA. I didn’t have high expectations going in cause let’s be honest, hair stylist are not usually good with the clippers. But I was lucky enough to get Melissa as my barber that day. I can’t even look at my own barber the same anymore. She took one look at my haircut from the week before done by my regular barber n pointed out all kinds of things done wrong n then proceeded to fix them. It’s just a shame I’m only out here temporarily n have to go back home n find a new barber. Thanks Melissa.

I came into here and thought I would have no problem. A simple trim and some long layers. Took her less than 30 minutes from an older Hispanic lady. Usually I’ll play on my phone no problem but she told me to put it down that she couldn’t and would not compete with it. So she rushed through not checking both sides like most people do. I came home and styled it and at least an inch difference on each side. Never will I go back here. I look like an idiot.

What a delightful experience! Just wanted a trim… Nothing too complicated and wasn’t expecting much.
Julia was fabulous! Gave me tips on color and highlight maintenance, great cut, great price. I have been back several times now and brought my daughters and sister.
Love the online check in! I can look and see how long the wait might be… And when I walk in I am next up! Super time saver!

I’m so glad this place opened in the shopping plaza! I have fussy, medium length Asian hair & the stylists here are really attentive & good at giving me the haircuts I want! There is usually no wait & the haircut is always fast — which is a huge bonus when I’m bringing my kids! Everyone is friendly & the salon is clean. I love it!

This great clips is located in a small shopping mall and is great overall. I go to franchise hair places with low standards because i assume I get what I pay for, but this place is an exception to the rule! First off I was treated with great customer service. The stylist was cutting someone’s hair, but still greeted me and let me know that I would be helped in just a moment. She was also accurate with the wait time and after only about a 10 minute wait I got my haircut.
The haircut itself was great, my stylist paused a couple of times to show me how the cut was going and to make sure I was getting the length and style I wanted. The store was clean and very presentable, too!
The location is great also, since it’s right by a CVS and a grocery store, so you can do a bit of shopping while waiting for your family members to get their hair cuts.

I live next door to the shopping center and started supporting Great Clips when they opened. I’ve had my hair cut by 4 or 5 different stylists at the shop. They have all been really friendly. I appreciate that they take time to listen to my needs and then make some recommendations of their own. Prices are good and wait times are usually minimal. Give Great Clips a try for your next cut.

Chris cut and styled my hair yesterday and did it perfectly! Gave me exactly what I wanted length-​wise, too.
I haven’t been this happy with a haircut in quite a while.

Great place I always get a good haircut and have plenty of coupons from grand opening. I used there check in system and it worked well. This place is cheaper and way better than the alternative. Best haircut place in town.

Their system for checking people in is horrible.
I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!
