I have been going to Irina for years! I would never let anyone else touch my hair! She is very talented, keeps up with the latest trends and is truly a professional! She even works with my crazy schedule. Once you let her work with your hair you will be a client forever!

I went to Irina for the first time this past Saturday. A friend of mine goes to her regularly and recommended her to me. I’m always looking for a good hair stylist but most of the time I get just ok results… Nothing so special to make me say «This is my regular place now!» That’s why I try a new hair dresser every time. I had a new style in mind and Irina told me her professional opinion, even to some crazy ideas she said «I’ll do it if you want but I don’t recommend it» I appreciated that. Then, she offered me other options, which to be honest made much more sense than my ideas. She cut my long hair to a medium size bob. It looked great! I was and still am so happy! I had a certain vision in mind and she captured it 100%. I’m so excited to go back and do the highlights she suggested. I am so happy I don’t mind the Oakland-​Martinez drive at all! I’ve been going to Irina for haircuts for a few years now, and am very satisfied — talented stylist at a very fair price; great problem-​solver and willing to work with you to be sure you’re happy with your hair! I have a wonderful signature look I’ve gotten many compliments on, thanks to Irina.

I started going to Irina as a walk-​in at Concord’s Sunvalley Mall. For a couple of years I drove 15 miles to the mall every 5 weeks for Irina to cut my hair. In 2003 Irina moved her business another 15 miles farther from me to Jarreras Hair Studio on Alhambra Avenue in Martinez. I told myself that in no way would I drive that far just to get my hair cut and started visiting shops and barbers closer to home, but quickly realized there’s more to just getting my hair cut. I realized that Irina is a consummate pro, and after several awful haircuts I followed her to Jarreras. So now, for some 10 years or so, every 5 weeks, I drive 30 miles for Irina to «style» my hair, as she calls it, and consult me on how to take care of my graying and slowly thinning hair. Simply put, Irina’s the best.

Irina is great! She’s been doing my hair color and cuts for at least 6 years now. I’ve recommended a number of friends to her because she is really good. She always has a way of making a simple cut a little bit better. And she nails the color. She also provides a fun experience in the salon. Its like a social visit but I get my hair done. I highly recommend Irina.
