2+ years later (almost 5 years now), continue to visit this dentist and will be my recommended dentist in martinez.
My preference for this dentist continues:
a) Dentist relies on their individual skill and knowledge to treat patient instead of technology. Dentist knows their limits and will recommend you to appropriate specialist as necessary.
b) No fancy offices (fancy offices = higher rates that you pay, unrelated to quality of care).
c) No offers of Free «teeth whitening kits» to erode your enamel and make you long term patients. This is a plus given the research I’ve done on «teeth whitening kits». «Teeth whitening kits» are a long term revenue generator (enamel destruction) for milking dentists and unsuspecting clients.
d) Friendly office and staff

Dr. Schwartz is the best! I have been a patient for nearly 13 years. When I first started going, I had some pain from a tooth that had a root canal several years earlier. I moved twice, two different dentists insisted there was nothing wrong. Dr. Schwartz found that the procedure did not get everything and recommended a second one. Since then, no more problems!
The staff is great, from Carol in reception to Kourosh the hygienist. Very professional and courteous. He will be my dentist until he retires!

A great atmosphere with friendly staff. The hygienist is always gentle with my gums. Dr. Schwartz is super friendly and takes the time to talk to you. My children love going to see him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schwartz for over 16 years. He has such a gentle approach, is so calm and thorough in his work. I have had many dental issues stemming from childhood trauma and Dr. Schwartz has taken great care of all of my problems. I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone I can. If you have a fear of the dentist, then he is the one to see! You will leave the office wondering what you had been afraid of.

I have only been here once but I had a great experience. Nothing serious, just a routine cleaning but they are excellent. Very gentle, thorough, and professional. Highly recommended.
