Went in Friday night ordered my pizza and went over to Lucky to get something to drink but when I came back to get the pizza one of the employees walked in before me with a bottle of Jack Daniels and went straight to the back with it. Seriously, you had to go get hard alcohol on your break and bring it back to work? You couldn’t wait to get off work? So unprofessional…

I wanted pizza, but did not want to make the dough. Since I was in the mood to bake, I stopped by the local Papa Murphys and picked up a Hawaiian and Cowboy pizza. I ask for less sauce, otherwise I will be so thirsty later. You know that thirst where you drink a gallon of water and have sloshy belly, but you feel like you’ll need to drink a gallon more. In the end it was as I expected, not great not terrible. What did I learn today? The guy making my pizza while chewing gum did not accidentally spit his gum on my pizza

Not bad for a take home and bake pizza. Tuesday is the best deal. $ 10 for any large or make your own up to 4 toppings. The pan crust is pretty filling.

This is based SOLELY on the horrible service the girl working the register on 07/12/2015. EXTREMELY R U D E. The young man who made my pizza did a fantastic job. Even he could see how angry this girl was. I love the food here, and would highly recommend this place to anybody hungry for a good meal. Just be ware of HER. No personality, definitely NOT a people person.

Should be zero stars, and 1 broken window for being too cheap to be worth visiting(just joking about the window!). Saw poster of COOKED pepperoni pizza in window for $ 7. Asked cashier about several items that made it clear I had never been to this chain before. Although it appeared take and back was an option, I told the cashier I wanted the $ 7 pepperoni pizza«in the poster». At no time did she mention that it would not be cooked. In the poster it is clearly cooked. She told me it was busy and it would be take around 10 minutes or so(I’m often told around the same at places where pizza is cooked). I left and came back. Pizza was uncooked. I said I thought it would be cooked. Cashier said the sign says«take and bake». BUT the poster said NOTHING about take and bake, so I asked for a refund. It was only around 6pm, and surely by the end of the night a reputable pizza place(take and bake or not) could have sold that at least 1 standard order pepperoni pizza that night — to someone who knew it was uncooked. Cashier /manager said she would try to call owner /manager for refund. A few minutes later she said refund request denied because they have a sign mentioning«take and bake». No mention of the actual poster NOT saying anything in large letters(took a picture of it) that actual pizza would not be cooked. Said I confused them with Papa John’s. Papa John’s does have my business in the future but Murphy’s does NOT. I left the pizza on the counter. I had to buy dinner else where that night. If I have tme, I will apply through my credit card for a refund. Regarless, no reputable place misrepresents its pizzas and then claims it cannot take a pizza back that was clearly mis-ordered and has not even left it’s countertop.

What is the deal?! I have yet to have a phone order be ready when I go to pick up. No matter how long I give them to prepare!(They told me 20 – 25 mins, I showed up 45mins later & they hadn’t even started) I also would expect the person working there to know the menu, I asked about a pizza(which wasn’t on the online menu) and he asked me if they still make that? Um I actually don’t know, which is why I asked! As a conciliation prize he gave me my coupon discount and let me keep the coupon, which as it turns out expires tomorrow! The pizza always tastes fine, but next time I’ll just walk to Lucky’s for a frozen pizza and call it a night!

The pizza is good but the work staff clearly untrained. I saw 5 employees and waited 20 minutes to get called. When I was called, they had only made one of the two pizzas I ordered! I don’t know what everyone was doing, since the guy making my pizza had to stop and run the cash box while everyone else milled around. Thank goodness someone else finished my order or I would still be there

Ordered a small vegetarian thin crust pizza for a healthier option. Turns out they do not sell small. Cooked pizza according to directions and crust was soggy and under cooked. Left pizza in another 5 – 10 min. Still soggy. It took 8 paper towels to soak the grease off of this pizza! And this is a healthier option? Never again!

This place is terrible. I’ve tried to call in orders here multiple times and they’ve told me they wont start making the pizza until I arrive. Fine, so I wait after I get there. And then after 20 minutes of waiting(10 minutes after I call it in) I still don’t have a basic pepperoni pizza. I watched people who came in after me leave with food, and I’m still standing there, yet they don’t seem to care. I asked for a credit and they happily, almost rudely gave it to me. The manager seemed to be asking for me to make a complaint. All I wanted was to call an order in and pick it up, but instead I will be avoiding this place going forward and telling my friends about this awful experience. Apparently making pizza is too difficult for this lot… they are clearly a bunch of high schools students and people with no ambition to be treating their customers so rudely. Good luck guys.

I have to say that we had an extraordinarily good pizza from Papa Murphy’s a couple of weeks ago. We always get the gourmet vegetarian with sausage and Canadian bacon added and, while it’s always good, that one was wonderful. I don’t know what Justin did differently but it was the best pizza we’ve had! And I don’t know if you can request a specific person to make your order but, if so, I’d recommend Justin.

Just had to update my review, from 4 to 5 stars, based on the gourmet vegetarian pizza which was delicious! Artichokes, spinach underneath and a dice of tiny crisp veggies on top; a scrumptious garlic cheese topping; and a perfect crust – like a baguette, tender inside and slightly crunchy outside. I usually favor independent shops like Zachary’s in Berkeley, but this pizza is every bit as good, maybe better, for half the price. Will be back soon!

After a very long day at work, I stopped by Papa Murphy’s to pick up some pizzas for dinner. I decided on a large Gourmet Vegetable pizza on the delite crust, and the family Papa’s Favorite on original crust. Both were delicious, and looked amazing. And, they both only cost $ 27! Plus, they were ready very fast, I think I waited maybe 3 minutes. No doubt I will be back :)

The staff is very friendly and always manage to get my very specific order just right(with pesto, extra garlic, and feta instead of the regular topping cheese). Plus you can’t beat the price!

Came into this place on a whim the other night. We had not called ahead but were more than willing to wait. We were ignored for about the first 5 – 10 minutes that we were stading there. The 3 young kids working behind the counter apparently thought that their weekend plans were more important. The pizza was ok, it tasted good, it cooks fast. Just feel like the customer service needs a serious makeover.

My experience has been good with this location. I usually send the husband down to go get it and he never comes home complaining about it. When I call down there to order they usually try and push their«whatever special» of the day. Its kind of annoying but otherwise the people answering the phone are really personable. We got the Murphys Combo last time and it was really good. It could have been a pizza used in their commercial for how perfect it looked also. The Cheesy Bread on the otherhand wasn’t as good as we had hoped. Skip that if you must. Except for having to go get it, we have been enjoying our pizzas latley. I wasn’t feeling good and this was the only medicine I needed. It really hit the spot.

While I am a big fan of Papa Murphy’s pizza and the chain as a whole I absolutely hate this location. The food stinks and the staff is horrible. The food was made shoddy and is NOT up to the standards of other quality Papa Murphy’s locations, nor were the staff friendly nor professional. The past few times it was these two teenage girls who most likely were doing this on purpose. I am not making this up when I ordered they shared a smirk and continued on about their teenage girl gossip about how one was cheating on her boyfriend xxx amount of times with xxx. Not something, I the customer, want to hear. Most of the customers they appeared to be mocking and making fun of. Hardly professional ladies. I will be submitting a formal complaint to the corporate side of Papa Murphy’s when I get a chance. My advice would not to base your opinion of Papa Murphy’s on this one location. Papa Murphy’s is a great chain, however, this location is horrible with how it is currently staffed. Seek your pizza elsewhere. I will be.
