Wendy’s

Firsteveval, I came here at around 9:40 and the drive-​trough was closed, and then I called and said what’s going on? And they told me to wait 2 more minutes so I waited, then when they came on in the speaker I ordered my food and I didn’t get my food until 9:55. Horrible service.

Horrible customer service. I simply asked for two cups for water and the worker gave me a dirty look and an attitude. Hope to never come back.

I gave this place two stars not because of the quality of the food, but of the workers. We showed up for lunch on 4÷25÷15 and the place wasn’t even busy. No cars in the drive-​through and nobody in the dining room. I ordered the their new cod sandwhich and my wife ordered the a chicken pecan apple salad.
First, it took forever to get our food. The lady behind the counter tried to give me my sandwhich and fries, while telling me it’s going to be a while because they had to cook the chicken. Mistake 1: Serving a partial order from the same ticket. Mistake 2: Not having chicken already to go and stored in the chiller for salad orders.
I told the worker that she shouldn’t be serving my food until the entire order is ready to go. A minute’s wait isn’t bad, but it took nearly 15 minutes for them to get my order. By the time I had my order, I noticed a car in the drive-​through and the timer was at about 10 minutes.
This is supposed to be fast food. Not slow food. It was really good food, just slow.
I’ll give this place one more chance, but that’s it.

Where the hell did my tomatoes, pickles and lettuce go on my spicy chicken? Didn’t know it was just a piece of chicken and bread.

If I could give this place no stars then I would. This place has horrible customer service, no wonder there are no cars in their parking lot during lunch hours. Is it just me or when you order an item and say for an example «number 5» then wouldn’t you expect a combo? With fries and a drink? If I wanted just a sandwich, I would say the name of it.

this is the most disgusting fast food place I’ve been to. The floor and tables were so dirty and greasy looking with sauce & pieces of food all over the floor. There were more than 10 flies in there that would land on my food constantly. The food was great.

What happened to this place? They use to have the nicest kids working here who were on it. Everytime I come here now theres a problem. First theyre rude. rhey hardly speak english too which makes ordering pretty difficult. A smile is out of the question. They are constantly out of potatoes. Only they never say that until I get to the pickup window. Today she didnt give me ketchup or mustard even tho I politely asked and get home and my sandwich had no cheese or bacon. So I had to go home use my own condiments and use a kraft cheese slice on my asiago ranch chicken. Oh and make my own potato which kind of defeats the purpose of going somewhere for food. Whats a pregnant lady got to do to get the bacon, potato, or cheese she craved and paid for?

I don’t care what people say about the finger-​in-​the-​chili incident that happened years ago; Wendy’s chili is still on point! Got some today on my lunch break, added some hot sauce, and it was smackin!
Besides that, the service is okay, and the location is close enough to the freeway. My overall score of Wendy’s is average. Just your typical fast food joint.

The burgers are better than other fast food restaurants. My fav is the Son of Baconator and cup of chili.

does not accept coupons and staff was trying to short each order. The demanded a receipt to show what was ordered. no excuses, no use of automatic ordering system to fulfill order. very bad servcie from evening crew at front counter.

THE slowest service ever, should you decide to dine in. In my opinion, one should always go through the drive-​thru at this joint, or else you’ll be waiting 10+ minutes for some fries and a soda.

Good service for drive thru! The employees at that time was very helpful and nice. She’s extremely friendly. We ordered 2 Monterey sandwich and 2 baked potatoes. Our meal was less that $ 10. (We ordered from the $ 1 menu) nonetheless, it was a great experience. I will come back if I go to Martinez.

When my son is in Town, I sometimes drop him off at the nearby Boys and Girls Club to socialize and to just get him out of the house (and away from the XBOX 360). After I pick him up, he’s hungry and my suggestions of waiting until we get home or stopping off at more interesting places fall on deaf ears. The Kid wants his Double Baconator®!
This Alhambra Avenue Wendy’s is conveniently located and with plenty of parking. The Kid already knows what he wants before we walk in the door, while I look at the calorie counts and order from the Value Menu. The new «Natural Cut» Fries with Sea Salt are pretty good, and I continue to appreciate the salad and baked potato options. The most surprising thing is that after eating all that food, the Kid is hungry again a few hours later and without an extra pound to show for it. Maybe those calories are burning off on his Mother’s trampoline or by walking the dogs every day?

Poor customer service — one star. My husband went to pick up some Wendy’s for us tonight. Unfortunately, the cashier who was working rang up a fruit punch instead of the small french fries he had ordered. When he tried to correct the order, the cashier told him of course he had ordered fruit punch — it was on the receipt. Then she proceeded to ignore my husband and help the next customer in line. My husband who doesn’t make a scene, said no I didn’t, then left the fruit punch on the counter and walked out.
He will not go back to a business that treats him poorly and shows such a lack of respect to their customers. We normally get take out from here a couple of times of month. Martinez is a small town so your customer base is limited, why Wendy’s management would tolerate an employee who can’t fix a simple order mistake I can not understand.
To put it simply, it doesn’t matter who made the mistake, she heard fruit punch, he thought he said small french fry. It would have taken less then two minutes to switch out the items. It should not have been a big deal. Now he’s ticked off and won’t go back.

This baby is about to be here and you know what I have been really good with what I eat.
Damn it I wanted some Wendys for lunch!
I went inside to order and eat because there was no one there at the time.
I got a little Double Stack meal. It comes with the small version of a burger with two patties, and their new natural cut fries.
The new fries are really good! Dare I say the best fast food fries out there.
They also let you substitute bottled water for a fountain drink. I liked that a lot.
The guy ringing me up couldn’t figure out the card machine. I was worried I would be charged multiple times for how many buttons he pushed.
By the time I was sitting and enjoying my burger and fries the place filled up fast. I was getting weird looks from a creepy old man sitting across the room.
There was a few jail releases on their cell phones talking way to loud.
When the guy with hacking emphysema showed up coughing like his lung was about to dislodge, I bounced.
Next time I’ll drive thru and enjoy my burger in the low rider.

What good is Unilocal if negative reviews can be removed from a business? (seriously, google it. Businesses can pay to have negative reviews removed.)

I hate Fast Food! So the highest a fast food joint can get is a 3.
But when I want something somewhat healthy from a drive thru a Wendy’s salad is perfect. The drive thru is quick and they are friendly and fast.
Not to mention when I want a real treat I get a frosty! Mmm… Frosty!

The same as most other Wendy’s with the exception of WAY TOO MUCH SALT. C’mon guys, don’t be so heavy handed, we all want to save out arteries as best we can. Lighten up and give us the time to have full blockage from the cholesterol. I’ll be happy, you’ll keep me around longer to spend more money, your kids will be able to have braces on their teeth. It’s a win-​win that way.
