I love this place! Their sushi rolls are what keeps us coming back. They have more than 20 rolls to offer and are all reasonably.priced. This is such a great deal! It’s a great place for take out too especially if you get lazy to cook dinner.

Sushi is good. I wish I could say service is good but they messed up a few times on my orders. My tip too is that they close at 9pm but stop taking orders at 8:30pm??? You should really just say you close at 8:30pm. Wow so I am here to update my post watching them take orders from people after 8:30pm when on the phone they told me they don’t take orders after 8:30pm WOWWWWWWW. You guys for real? Update again they still keep messing our current order up never coming her ever again. Also they took 20 minutes seriously disrespectful and worst yosushi I have ever been to. I will stay going to the one in Alameda way better food and customer service.

Tried this place because my dad loved the one in Fairfield and let me know there was another location in Martinez. Placed an order last week for pick up as I was leaving work and it was ready by the time I got there 10 – 15 mins later. I got the lemon salmon roll, my all time favorite type of roll, and I tried the tempura rainbow roll as well. The menu didn’t state that they use fake crab as a topping for the rainbow roll so I was pretty disappointed with that one, it ruined what would have been a good roll. The lemon salmon roll was great though. It’s a good place to pick up a quick bite of sushi, I would try it again and avoid rolls with fake crab meat.

I really do like the food here. I get takeout all the time. One of the things I’ve noticed is that they go overboard with the whitefish crab substitute. For that reason I copied their menu sans rolls that use the double helping of fake crab: Also, the deep fried rolls tend to come out looking like the french fry that went on an extra trip or two through the fryer. But really, the fish has always been great. Even on the most disgusting hot summer days, it did not offend. The rolls are tasty and well made(hold together) and my nigiri is always satisfying.

Not really a delightful place to go to, but I don’t think that’s what this place is know for. It is a simple quick place to eat sushi which is mediocre in quality but balanced by a very competitive pricing curve. The sushi is cheap basically, but still good enough to eat. The kid that works there isn’t exactly customer service friendly. He seems a bit lazy and doesn’t like to help with questions. My girlfriend asked about getting a styrofoam cup for her drink and he tried to explain that they don’t have them. Keep in mind that we go to this restaurant every now and then, and have never had a problem getting a styrofoam cup. This kid’s coworker overheard and brought out a styrofoam cup. Why didn’t this guy jus ask his coworkers where the cups were instead of insinuating that they never had them in the first place? This is just one incident of poor customer service.

Nice place. Clean tables and bathrooms. Sushi has a very nice flavor but the rolls are quite large which makes them hard to eat. I got a green tea latte with pearl and it was good but the pearls were hard. The rolls we got were the tempura rainbow, deluxe lamba, and the Travis. Our of those 3, the Travis had the best flavor.

It was a last minute chance before Christmas shopping at Walmart. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of salmon and would come again. I am a salmon snob so that’s saying something! We got 4 orders of salmon nigiri, Gyoza and tuna tataki. Simple fast food sushi fix.

This place is honestly not bad. Albeit, I never find myself in this side of Martinez, but for a quick Japanese food fix at an affordable, reasonable price, this place does the trick. After a rare trip to the Wal-Mart in this plaza, my brother and I had a hankering for food and I wanted something light and fresh. So, some fresh nigiri and sushi seemed ideal. I ordered the sushi appetizer special for $ 9 and got a plate of 5 fresh nigiri and 6 California rolls. My brother got the sashimi appetizer with fresh red tuna. Both were good and decent and did the trick. I’m a fan of Concord’s Momoyama Sushi, as I have been going there for years and always compare all sushi I ever eat to theirs, but Yo Sushi is a decent quick fix. Small restaurant space with a menu all over its walls, it seems to be a place to have a quick bite or take-out.

Our go to Japanese quick meal place. Nicely decorated but busy, loud and frenzied place. Love their roll varieties and bento boxes. But Hamachi Kama is the best.

Ordered a «yo sashimi»… A lot for your buck! Service was quick and staff was very friendly! Sashimi were served to perfection and the portion given were MASSIVE! I will be returning to get my sashimi fix!

When we used to live in Vallejo, Yo Sushi is our go to sushi place, both Fairfield and Vallejo branch. What joy to find out they have a branch in Martinez close to where we now live. We’re reminded why we love Yo Sushi; friendly staff, delicious food and reasonable price. The staff’ always smiling eager to please. It’s a small place, pretty much like their branches in Fairfield and Vallejo so it can fill up really quick. The place was well lighted and of course it has the required flat screen TV showing KPop! The food is delicious! We never had a so so moment here, always Yahooo moment! I’m sure there are better sushi places around but for this price range, this place is the bomb! Definitely two thumbs way up!

Don’t come here on a hot day because they don’t have much of an air conditioning! The place is a little small for me personally I felt kind of crammed in there but I was greeted by such a friendly guy working the register! He was super nice even though it took me a little long to order my food because there was just so much to look at. I ordered the veggie roll and a potsticker roll to try because it looked interesting. The rolls were alright, too much rice for my liking to be honest and they feel apart easily. My boyfriend ordered the beef teriyaki and it was so good! And the gyoza was good too. I would come back again, on a cooler day and I’d order a different roll or a beef teriyaki plate. I think today it was just a little off and I ordered rolls I don’t normally order.

Woo 100th review of this place! :) This is a pretty UNDERRATED fast food sushi place. It is pretty small, and has more of a Hawaiian atmosphere to the place. The rolls here are priced VERY cheap compared to other places! The Lion King roll(my favorite) is only about 10 $ and it is a generous amount! The rolls are all posted on their menu and if it is too much for you, they have a hard copy of the menu(which is also their take-out menu). The rice bowls here are huge as well, and there are many different combinations and customization for the bento boxes. You can also substitute brown rice for white rice which I think is a plus(a bit extra). The food comes out quick! Less than 10 minute wait for sure. Take out here is great and I usually call them, then pick it up 10 – 15 minutes later! Super friendly staff and they serve/clean up for you sometimes when it is during a non-busy time. Love coming to this place occasionally!

This was my first time trying this place after hearing my boyfriend say he wanted to have sushi for dinner. The place looked old and was lacking in colors. It wasn’t crowded, but busy enough to form a line. It wasn’t my favorite atmosphere to be in but it was doable. There was only one guy who was both the cashier and waitress, so the wait was a good 20 minutes before we got our food. We ordered the Awesome roll, Cherry Blossom, and Deluxe Crispy. Awesome Roll — 9⁄10 pretty awesome. The flavors were so good together. This was probably my favorite roll. Deluxe Crispy — 8⁄10. It was delicious! Fried to the perfect crispyness that you crave for. I just felt unhealthy eating this lol. Cherry Blossom — 6⁄10. It was okay; probably my least favorite cherry blossom I’ve tried. It just didn’t have that wow factor. Overall, this place still can satisfy that sushi craving for a cheap price. I would come here again to try their other rolls.

I ordered the Cherry Blossom role as well as the Poke roll! They were both very delicious and the raw fish was very good, not slimy! I also got the black milk tea with pearls but it wasnt that great. The boba was kinda hard and the drink was okay. Great vegetable tempura and ramen! Overall the service is great and the people are very nice! It was really good price and a cute little place! Recommend if youre in the area!

My friend had seen this place from the freeway, and it’s close to her work, so we decided to try it. It’s not an impressive place: You order your sushi at the counter, you seat yourself, and you bus your own table. BUT, the sushi is good! I enjoyed each of the 4 rolls we ordered, especially the Deluxe Lambada and the Martinez rolls. And the bill only came out to $ 39, including two tapioca black milk tea drinks with pearls, which is a bargain for good sushi. So if you’re not looking for a fancy restaurant, but simply want some good sushi at an affordable price, check out Yo! Sushi.

Bummed they ran out of menus and with so many choices it took me forever to decide. This is my second time here and this time around I tried the Fantasy roll = crab meat, and deep fried avacado topped with green onion and special sauce. It’s absolutely delicious! The chicken teriyaki bowl is a classic and it’s only $ 5.50! Cozy place with 7 tables sized to seat 2 – 4 ppl. They also have a 4 seat bar next to the counter. The décor is a little cheesy but the food is great! I’m surprised by how busy this place that they haven’t expanded. Friendly staff and sufficient service. I’ll definitely be a regular.
