Denny’s

Had a really great experience here with my daughter. Good breakfast; everything cooked properly; great service. This was early afternoon and it wasn’t very busy. Glad we decided to give it a shot despite the low reviews.

I normally avoid this place, but when they sent me a free Grand slam for my birthday I figured I’d go and use it. The food was ok, but the cashier refused to scan the coupon from my phone for whatever reason. If I wanted to pay for average food, I’d have gone to Taco Bell across the street and saved some money. Thanks for nothing Denny’s. I guess this backwards ass city hasn’t gone paperless yet.

This seems like a pretty good Denny’s… at least for breakfast, which is all I have ever had here.

I heard about the revamp of this dennys from a good friend telling me how good the food is now. I’ve been there three times now and have great food every time. Nice to see the change.

Gross, everything is sticky, food is not great, interior needs health dept. Inspection and a deep cleaning. Parking is ok. Coffee is so so, nothing is consistent. Staff is so so

COCKROACHES.
We stopped in a month or so ago, around 2:30am… server was sweet… as we waited for her to bring our drinks, out scampered a COCKROACH from under our table. Chillin’. Hangin’ out. Just shootin’ the breeze there on the floor. Ya know, NO BIG DEAL.
We didn’t make a scene, we just left. If they’re that nonchalant on the lighted dining floor, I’d hate to see how they get down in the dark back corners by the food.

Took my son to Dennys for his birthday. We sat there for 30 min. No one took our order. Not even a drink order. The waitress sat there on her phone the whole time. Even after we walked out. I would give it a zero but this app doesn’t let me.

What is the malfunction with the staff here? (That includes the managers) All they do is talk amongst each other and ignore the PAYING customers. I tip 20−25% for good service, so sorry you missed out on that! It’s like the staff has a chip on their shoulders for having jobs. I’m sure there are several others that are unemployed and can’t find work, that would love the chance to work at Denny’s. The service has gotten increasingly poor over the past year that I even felt compelled to complain to corporate about it. They said they’d notify the franchise owner. Hopefully the franchisee does something otherwise I don’t see this place lasting much longer!

We didn’t even get greeted when we walked in, waited 25 minutes for our food. Mine came out barely warm, pretty much room temperature, at least my boyfriends was hot. Tasted pretty Blah I got eggs bacon n hashbrowns and it just wasn’t good, usually you can’t go wrong with a traditional breakfast. I definitely don’t plan on going back.

Horrible job by our server Amanda. She forgot our table for 15 minutes! No service at all! The fact that she had to ask another table how long we were here waiting IS SUPER SAD!
Also where the hell are the utensils?! Also… Where are all the sugars! And our refills?!
Hate every min of it!

This is the worst Denny’s you can find!!!

Service was very poor. Our food sat in the counter for probably 10 mins. Despite it being neglected, it was good. For the duration of our meal a dirty table sat nearby and the staff wasn’t even remotely busy.

I think the food is good, but the service is hit or miss. One time I had lipstick on my coffee cup. The waitress didn’t apologize. They will seat you and then not take a drink order or food for a long time even when they are not really busy.

I don’t know what has happened to this place but it used to be great service, food and smiling faces to the point you felt compelled to leave tips. Now, the food is mediocre and that’s giving it credit, the service is very sad. Waiting for someone to ask for your order is slow, refills are even slower if at all. We tried twice giving it the benefit of the doubt the first time that maybe something had happened but, the second time was just as poor if not worse. We will not be dining there again for any time of the day. P. S. Speaking to a few other patrons in the area, it wasn’t just our experience alone.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Horrible service, Autumn V. Specifically. Rude. Beyond rude. Our cups were broken all around the rims and sharp chips sticking out, she threw our silverware on the table, made a rude comment about us needing boxes. I’m sorry, is this not your job? Do you not work here? I’m sorry we need refills and boxes. No one from our party will be coming back. If we want to be treated like scum we will remember this establishment. Otherwise we will not be returning. Maybe treat your customers better. If you would like them to come back that is.

The service has been a little slow, but the food here has always been perfect. We avoided Denny’s for years but the recent revamping of their brand has been a definite success in my eyes. The quality of the food is 100% times better then it was a few years ago, there are healthy options, and fun drink options. Glad to see an American favorite make a comeback!

Our server Desiree was off the chain yo, she handled our orders better than 2 chainz handling big booty b%tches in YMCB concert. Food was on point. My ratchet entourage got our post alcohol filled night fix here in the early morning. Will be back if we r in the area/​hood

Ordered their «Create your own Skillet» or whatever you call it. I was really excited to try it and to CUSTOMIZE my own.
When I filled out the little slip of paper, I requested alot of my options come on the side so I could mix and match accordingly and to my liking. I even had it WRITTEN OUT plainly on the tab.
Got my skillet, and NOTHING was on the side and I was even missing Jalapenos which I also requested. The waitress took my food back and brought it again about 10 minutes later.
This time, they forgot avocados which I originally had requested the first time. At this point, I had already been there an hour and was too frustrated and hungry to say a word. The waitress and the chef had both messed up.
I give credit to the waitress though because she was the only one serving tables while the manager was doing who-​knows-​what. In fact, the manager seemed more annoyed with me than concerned about the fact that they had gotten my order wrong, TWICE. And that speaks volumes.
If you want breakfast, go elsewhere. And if there isn’t anywhere close by, just have a bowl of cereal at home.

This Denny’s is the only one in the area. They’re open 24 hours a day, and they have a great little $ 2 $ 4 $ 6 $ 8 menu. I like to get the Everyday Value Slam. Comes with 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, and 2 pieces of either sausage or bacon. I’ve been to a lot of Denny’s, all over the place, and this one hasn’t really perfected the pancakes. They’re always either burned or rubbery. Pretty good service. Ok food.
