I thought that the service was great but the food was so far gone that it is not worth discussing. I’m not a fan of a sampler platter that reeks of Walmart for $ 24.

I really can’t say enough great things about this club! We love about three hours away and still make it a point to attend every few months. Truth be told, I generally don’t even gamble at the casino when I’m seeing a show at Comix. The owner, Mike, can be seen hustling all hours of the day or night. You’ll often see him behind the ticket counter, helping deliver food or beverages, and just mingling with the customers. The bottom line is that the owner and staff are always focused on making sure everyone in attendance has an amazing time. Mike has gone out of his way to treat me(and everyone else for that matter) like a VIP. I’ve had many date nights with the wife at Comix and also some nights out with the boys here. You’re ALWAYS in store for some top notch comedic talent and top notch hospitality’

Worst NYE ever. The comedians were horrible. No skit. Just made fun of the audience all night. Also, VIP is a JOKE! Paid an extra $ 120 to sit right next to the $ 60 seats. Never again. Lesson learned.

We had a good time overall. The drinks are fairly priced and seating is good from any spot. Our show started at 10:30 and we got online at 9:45 for general admission. I’m glad we did because we sat in a perfect spot in the middle. We had one drunk lady that kept talking at the table and interrupted the comic a few times and I was hoping they would kick her out but they didn’t.

I will NEVER go back to this place again and I honestly am an easy person to satisfy and I laugh at everything. Here are my issues: 1. The comics were not that funny… especially the headliner Brendan walsh 2. When we bought the tickets online there was no mention of the 2 drink minimum… once we picked up the tickets at will call, it was listed on the ticket… I only had 1 drink and when I got the bill there was 2 drinks listed on the receipt… the waitress didn’t even tell me about this and just charged me… who does that!!! 3. My buddy ordered a piece of pie and if was hard as a rock!!! It was terrible! 4. Can comics go 1 minute without saying a dirty joke?! Some of the stuff can be money, but after about 5 minutes I’m done with it… nevermind 1 hour and 45 min. In conclusion NEVER go here. Just hit up shrine!

I’ve only been here twice, the last show was Steve Rannazzisi on 01/18/2014 which was awesome! The place itself is a great venue because of it’s size it doesn’t matter where you sit, you will enjoy yourself and are close to the stage! The service is great as well. Our waitress both times was right on top of everything being very quick and friendly. I have yet to try the food but I will be next time that I go to see Brian Posehn on 02/22/2014! On top of all of the great things about this place, it is very affordable! I also spoke with the owner last night and he is nice guy and is very welcoming. He has done a great job with the place.

A good time for a halfway decent price. Comedians are great. BOGO tickets w/military ID. Eat before you go in, food is crappy and overpriced. Also make sure you get your drinks(2 drink minimum), if you don’t they charge you for them anyways in gratuity. Overall a great time.

Unfortunately witnessed an encounter with the«managing partner» Marc«with a C» Wiesenthal and a customer. Talk about unprofessional, geez. This customer who bought tickets couldn’t go because of a family emergency and tried to return two tickets because he couldn’t go. They refused to take the tickets back so the guy was trying to give them away for half price. Marx the promoter who in my opinion was definitely on a power trip threatened the customer with calling security on him for selling the tickets. Unbelievable what people are willing to do for money. When someone is in a jam, give them a break. I am going to enjoy the show tn but never never going here again. If that is the type of behavior that is expected from the staff, I won’t support it.

The one time I went here, the comedian I paid to see got subbed out for somebody else… so of course I was a little annoyed at that. However, I must say that the replacement was indeed hilarious. The only thing that really, REALLY bothered me was the horrible service. Our waiter did everything in his power to avoid our table at all times. Half the items on the menu weren’t available and overall it just led to a less-than-impressive evening. For this kind of money I’d much rather go to another comedy club, eat good food, and have reasonable service. I won’t be going back to Comix.

Had a great time, I highly recommend the R-Rated Hypnotist. The 2 Drink limit is awkward if you have people in your party who don’t consume alcoholic beverages, the cost of any non-alcoholic drink is still $ 5.

I have been to Comix about 7 times over the past 2 years. So I think I have a good feel for this place with the time and money spent here. I have had Vip tickets and regular tickets. Not a bad seat in this place which ever route you go. Vip lets you pick your seats ahead of time and also early admission. The good… Funny Funny Funny !!! Some shows have been over the top and some good. Have not seen one that was bad. Have had the food and thought it was good. The prices are high on the food, drinks and I don’t like the 18% gratuity included on your bill. Place is always clean. I personally have always found the host’s to be very friendly. I have never had any issues with the wait staff. Maybe I have been lucky. For me this is one of my must do things when we go to Foxwoods. It is a nice break from gambling for me and very enjoyable. One thing to the management please take away the mandatory gratuity. Money should be earned not forced on people.

For a bunch of ‘who the hell are these people’ comedians i must say this place wasn’t half bad. For a 10:30pm show a line started forming around 9:50. Important to know, even though you have a ticket it is first come first serve! Plus, don’t forget about the 2 drink minimum. The host was nice, he gave us a decent table up close. The waitress was Ok, slow to get to us near the end. I did have a few issues. One, due to the seating arrangements, i had to turn my head 90* to the left to see the comedian. I would have preferred 180*, at least at that point i would have turned my chair around. Just uncomfortable to see especially toward the end. Second, the comedians overplayed the ‘naughty’ theme, so much so that some of the jokes were almost exact repeats of previous comedians. After we were told the last comedian was coming out, two more performed. When you mentally prepare for something to end and it does not you get thrown off. Would not have been a big deal but the ‘last’ guy(really 3rd to last) was awesome. Very funny, energetic and overall entertaining. Then, the host comes out(again) with jokes identical to his earlier ones. And the REAL last guy wasn’t very funny, was slow and seriously almost put me to sleep. Not bad overall, just wish some things went different.

I love all the comedy acts that are booked here! The drinks are weak though, so I usually stick to the wine to get my money’s worth. I haven’t tried the food yet, so can’t speak much to that.

Customer service is terrible here. I swear they must have hired some of the rudest piss ants in the area because the people here are ridiculous. For a place that has comedians, these people have the largest, thickest, fattest, and rotten sticks up their asses. The guy at the front a complete douche. The waitress had an attitude to the point by the end of the night, I wanted to see a manager. So ridiculous. The comedians were good. I guess that worked out since that was my purpose of going there. Unless there is someone you are absolutely dying to see, I recommend going to Mohegan Sun to Tree house Comedy or hitting some place in Providence before coming here

Went to Comix to see a friend perform. The tickets were reasonably price — there is a 2 drink minimum which is not included. The host and the comedians were funny. Service was good — drinks are higher than outside the casino I would go back again

I realize that rating a Comedy Club can be very difficult. It really isn’t fair to rate them on the basis of the comics that are performing on the particular evening of one’s visit. But I will take a moment to say that the comics we saw were really very funny… As far as the place itself is concerned… We were greeted by a very friendly, enthusiastic host as we entered. He made light conversation, which we engaged him in and he told us that we’d have a great time. We were shown to our table; the place was barely occupied, which was nice. The price of the tickets were $ 15(on this night and time), and the place was not packed at all. There were tons of empty tables, though this was a Sunday night. But you’re in a casino, so I expect every night to be Saturday night. Anyway, we had limited choices of seating, despite the place being 40% full. I will assume that was based on server sections. So we politely chose our table and sat down. The waitress came over after about 10 minutes and was doing her best impression of a surly, underpaid, people-hating waitress. At first I thought it might be part of the act, but unfortunately, that really was her attitude. I’ve never seen someone looked so put-out. I felt like ordering a drink was a burden to her. Not to mention, I HAD to order, because there was a 2 drink minimum per person. She brought out one of the«Irish coffees» wrong, and so we debated at the table if we should even tell her. We decided to, and she was none too pleased. Another waitress came by, and asked if someone was already serving us, to which we replied ‘yes’… and she rolled her eyes and walked off. Sounds like a great place to work! It wasn’t until the end of the show when I saw the Mandatory 18% gratuity applied to our party of 4. WOW. That’s why she was so miserable, she wasn’t relying on us to determine her tip. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… any place that applies a MANDATORY gratuity(other than for LARGE groups) is not a place for me. I love tipping well for exceptional service. I’ll tip 25% for someone that goes out of their way. But when you expect 18% for a lackluster, half-hearted, scowl-laden experience, you’re in the wrong profession! PROS: Drinks were ok. Host was funny. Comics did a great job, had us laughing alot. Place wasn’t overcrowded, fortunately. CONS: The surly Waitress. The other surly Waitress. The surly waitresses scowls. Her undeserved 18% gratuity. Expensive non-alcoholic drinks. Coffee or water are both over $ 5. yikes. For those that cannot drink booze, that’s not an attractive option. My advice… there are tons of other ways to both have fun and waste money at Foxwoods. I enjoy doing both while on vacation, and I think I’ll steer clear of this place until the 18% gratuity gets the proverbial hook.

I saw Charlie Murphy here this past weekend. Ticket price seemed a bit high for a place like this… $ 35. Plus a two drink minimum. At least beers were reasonable at $ 5 or $ 6. But it was kind of messed up that they threw a mandatory 18% gratuity on our bill without telling us. And we were only 4 people.

Price: Tickets are fairly expensive considering you have no table/elbow room and the seats are either barstools with backs, or wooden chairs.(and theres a two drink minimum,) Food/Drink: The food is delicious. We got the mini sliders(B+), Pork rollers(A++) and boneless buffalo wings(A). The drinks were also good and served quickly, although you needed to finish your first drink before ordering another. Over all, it was pretty good experience. I was confused that they had last call for the waitresses and then wanted you to stay after the show. There really isn’t a bad seat in the house because you don’t get space, you also get close to the scenes. I’d absolutely return.

First time checking out Comix at Foxwoods over Valentine’s Day weekend to see Dov Davidoff and Bret Ernst perform. Comix is an intimate venue with plenty of almost elbow to elbow seating. If you score VIP tickets, you are able to choose your table prior to the start of the show. The staff were surprisingly very nice. There is a two drink minimum no matter what type of ticket you have and of course everything is overpriced. I believe our tab came to $ 45 and all we had was an appetizer platter, 2 glasses of wine, and a 2 sodas. We still had a pretty good time. I would definitely go back.
