While visiting family in Menard, I needed a place to stay. I had stayed at motels in Menard but my experiences there had been horrible. Since I drive through Mason to get there I figured I would try out a room in Mason. I am glad I did.
First, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms, although small, were very clean and looked like they had been newly remodeled.
My only complaint is that the TV. in our room did not get very good reception.
For about $ 55, it was worth it. I will suffer driving 30 miles between Mason and Menard to stay here again.
