Disgusting. Why would anyone sell canned spinach?

I order the same sandwich religiously over seamless… Today it didn’t seem to come with the usual French fries… A bit disappointed, I called and was literally had to hold my phone away from my face because I was being scolded over the phone by a man and told my order doesn’t exist on the menu ans i must pay an additional 3.00 for French fries. Order at you’re own risk. These people have no idea what there doing for delivery.

My sister just ordered off of here through grubhub and upon delivery the delivery guy didnt even give a chance for me to tip him he walked to his car disgruntled and said «No Tip?, and proceeds to enter his car as he says dont ever order from us again and im gonna take his advice i wont ever since he obviously didnt see me reaching into my pocket for the tip but wants to rush things and get belligerent. Food was also missing but thats not he delivery guys fault but i will never eat here or order from here again very disrespectful and unprofessional people

Never ate inside but as far as delivery — they are always on time and my food is never cold! Amazing.

We ordered a greek salad with chicken on seamless. They forgot the grape leaves and anchovies. When I called and alerted them to the issue, they sent it to us, which was nice of them, but I am surprised they could make such a silly mistake. Also, I’m pretty sure greek salads do not have green bell peppers. At least it doesn’t say so under the greek salad description on the menu.

Ordered desserts from here and as another reviewer mentioned two items tasted of gasoline. Yuck!

Do not order here. Ordered delivery, the food came soggy and wet. The vanilla ice cream soda float came sloppy, sticky, and the contents were disappointing. How do you screw up a SODA FLOAT? There was no ice cream in it, no whipped cream, and the soda tasted like week old flat coke. The banana float came completley melted, and the two dessert pies were a massive let down. Will not order here again.

DO NOT EAT HERE — Terrible customer and worse food. Rude staff that does not care about neighborhood business. The «management» staff has absolutely no idea how to deal with customers. Once the food finally came to our table, my well done cheese burger deluxe (which took 45 minutes) was red through the middle and actually still frozen solid in the middle. When I spoke to my waitress she grabbed my hamburger bun with her bare hand to lift it up and look at the meat patty herself. She stated that «it looked fine» but it could be cooked a bit more if that was «my preference». After asking for her manager and telling him about her having touched my food with her bare hands, his reply was «How else did you want her to check?». I then told them to just bill me for my daughter’s meal and cancel the burger to which he replied «Sorry you already ordered it — What are we supposed to do with it now?».
Needless to say — All of my friends and neighbors here in Maspeth will NEVER spend our money at this horrible business anymore.

Upon walking in everyone was so very friendly and made me feel right at home. I had the lunch special that came with a free soup (of 3 different types), free soda or coffee, I chose coffee, and desert. I was pleasantly surprised to have very good tasting coffee and a tomato based bean soup. The Greek Souvlaki was also quite good. I’m giving this 5 stars because the service was excellent, the food came out very fast and it was good, price was not an issue, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Was here about a month back and they give out diesel proportions, food was good, waitress was nothing less than amazing and on top of all that they had free Wi-​Fi.
I literally have zero complaints about the place and would definitely go back if I’m in the neighborhood again.

Was there about an hour ago. Raining cats and dogs outside, so I decide to in here for a cup of coffee and maybe a slice of something sweet. Immediately hit with smell of roach spray. Intense! The waiter brought me some water and I asked him if they had just fumigated. He just stared at me like «duh». No wonder I was the only one there. Left with zero calories!

It is a mix review. I have been here a few times for brunch. The portion is generous, food is ok but the price is decent when you compare you get a drink and fruits on the side and staffs are friendly. I don’t recommend to order takeout from them. Since we had a good experience with them while dine in so we ordered take out for brunch and we were very regarded. The portion is relatively small and missed some portion. They charged higher. once we found out and negotiated with them. The cashier send us back to the waiter and he was rude. Since it is only a few bucks, we just left and found out they charge high and missing part of the order.
We learnt our lesson and never order take out with them

Ordered two cheeseburgers with fries and a chocolate chip cookie, the delivery was fast but the food was terrible. The patties weren’t grilled. It was like the burgers we ate when we were in school. The fries had no flavor and the cookie wasn’t even baked well. Everything was sloppy and the delivery guy calls me telling me that he’s outside. He couldn’t even ring the bell and come to my door. Won’t be ordering from them again.

This has to be the worst diner I’ve been too… The waiter was confused … The food was frozen food not freshly made… But the worst part was my husband order a ice cream soda… when he tried it he said it tasted like water with ice cream so he refused it … Then we notice the guy try to resale the ice cream soda to another costumer with the straw my husband just drank from… the utensils were also dirty… by far the worst place I’ve been too
AVOID AT ALL COST !!!

Zero stars if possible for delivery. Ordered through seamless, took 1.5 hrs for some eggs and french toast which arrived, of course, lukewarm and gross.
Delivery guy didn’t want to come up the stairs (um…its DELIVERY) and when I called the restaurant put some poor guy on who barely understood/​spoke English BC the manager was «unavailable» (yea right).
Trying to get my money back-​of course maspeth says I have to go through seamless. What a waste. Never again. My fiancée went to work without breakfast… thanks for starting our day off wrong Maspeth.

I wouldve given this restaurant 0 stars if I could. If you look up «The New Maspeth Diner» it would give you guys more helpful reviews. I came here because I had a
certificate. Now Im not sure exactly how it works but I forgot to print out the certificate and asked if they would just call the number that I pulled up on my phone. They refused and required that I needed to print out the certificate. Nowadays there’s go paperless where you can download the app and just show it to them on your phone. I bet they wouldn’t even honor it still.
Before our food came, the waiter gave me a plate to eat the bread. First of all the bread was cold like it was kept overnight and served to us — no good. Second, you didnt need to wear glasses to spot the huge orange grime on my plate (I could even feel it when i grabbed the plate — EWW). When I told the waiter to switch it, he acted like there was nothing wrong with the plate.
I definitely would not recommend anyone going to this place.

Awful. I ordered delivery and waited over two hours for a gross, cold breakfast with sides that I didn’t order. Why ask what kind of sides you want if you’re not going to read the selection? Ew. So turned off. Why.

Have only been waiting 3 hours so far for my lunch to get here… maybe it will get here by dinner?

As soon as we walked in on a Saturday night, we were greeted by the friendliest hostess who gestured toward the table. If it weren’t for her and our famished appetites, I would have turned right back around because my olfactory senses were immediately assaulted with a smell that can only be described as a bad hotel — musky, muddy, and stale. If that weren’t bad enough, the walls have been splashed over with a sicky shade of green that strangely reminded me of the last time I got food poisoning (it was the color I imagined my face to be).
Those serious qualms about the ambiance aside, the service was quick and the food came quickly. Watching televised sitcoms on wall mounted televisions certainly made the time fly. I ordered a veggie burger deluxe that came with a small mountain of fries (which were hot, crispy, and perfectly fried) that made this carb queen quite happy. The boyfriend ordered a chicken fajita wrap that he seemed to enjoy just fine, though when it first came to the table, he initially remarked on how small it seemed.
The warm and quick service are definitely a plus here — they are a strong redeeming part of this otherwise quaint diner. The hostess was one of the nicest people I’ve been greeted by at a restaurant and our server came by a few times (though not too many to be a meal irritant) to check on us and to see if we needed anything else. Servings are generous and prices are pretty middle of the road if you’re getting standard diner food. Come if you’re hungry, look elsewhere if you’re looking for finer fare.

This place is PHENOMENAL. I can give them no less than 5 stars and would do 6 if I could. I am a business traveler staying in Queens Maspeth.
This is my second night ordering in from these guys. The chef salad? It’s rolls of meat and cheese on lettuce with scratch made dressing!
The portions are heaping and I could never eat it all. What a great place!
