Came here for lunch with a group of 4 people and there were maybe 2 other people in the place. We sat at a high-top table near the bar and ordered our drinks. I ordered the Sam Adams Winter, but they were out of that, so I went with the Queens IPA. They instead brought me a light beer, presumably Bud Light. I drank it with no complaints as my options were limited to begin with. Another person I was with ordered a mixed drink off the cocktail menu. After a few minutes the waitress/bartender came back to retrieve the cocktail menu so that she could see what the ingredients of the drink were. Sorry, but you should know the recipes and/or have a spare menu behind the bar to refer to. For my meal I got the buffalo chicken sandwich. This was good, although nothing special and the bread seemed a little on the stale side. When I ordered my second round of drinks, I again ordered the Queens IPA and this time they brought the correct drink. We finished our food and would’ve ordered more drinks but the waitress was nowhere to be seen. We finally flagged her down so that we could pay the bill and got out of there.

Like most patrons started because the Good Life was too crowded. Now my place of choice. Anthony & Tommy know the business and the food is real good and priced reasonably. House burrito is superb. Mussels in white wine a must. Give it a try and for sure you’ll be back

Interesting combination of Irish pup and Mexican cantina. The duck taco was excellent, as was the buffalo burrito. The highlight might have been the prime beef burger with avocado and fried egg. The service was friendly and welcoming. The two brothers who own the place treat you like you’re in their home, a home with a kids menu and alcoholic root beer!

We ended up here because The Good Life was packed and had a long wait for a table. We were seated quickly and were greeted by a basket of homemade tortilla chips and salsa. There was a brief moment of confusion over our drink order but it was delivered correctly and in a timely fashion. Ordered a dozen clams on the half shell and were glad we did, they were perfect! I decided on a shrimp po boy and my honey went with a steak tid bit sandwich. My sandwich was very tasty, not 100% true to traditional, but delicious nonetheless. I did add hot sauce, but hey, I do that a lot! Honey’s sandwich was not as he expected –more like an open faced roast beef sandwich. I liked that they served Not Your Father’s Root beer. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We will likely be back!

Formerly known as Sancho’s, BLVD Bar & Grill is moving in the right direction. Since new ownership took over last year, the improvements are obvious — the rude staff of old is gone and the menu is much more diverse. Not in the mood for their signature Tacos? Try the Steak Tidbit Sandwich — you won’t find anything THAT good on the menu at The Good Life(BLVD won’t have the 40 minute wait or $ 12 beers either). If you don’t want a heavy meal or you and your friends are just there for the game, try the Messy Nacho’s with their signature Chipotle Sauce or the Buffalo Calamari, to which the Croxley’s version doesn’t begin to compare. While the beer menu isn’t what you would find at a Croxley’s or Good Life, BLVD makes up for it by offering constant specials such as $ 15 domestic buckets and $ 1 tequila shots(and not the Old Mexico either) or $ 2 Taco Tuesdays. So if you go to the Good Life for the food but hate the wait and the prices, come to BLVD. If you go to McGorey’s for the cheap beer but don’t like the food or the beer selection, come to BLVD. And if you go to Woody’s, just come to BLVD.
