My husband and I came over to PA to visit my family for the week. Tonight was just one of those nights after dinner that we wanted something sweet and thought we’d go to some local ice cream place and get something fancy. Our original intent was to drive the 30minutes to Dairy Bar but the people working were more interested in standing around talking and closing down 30minutes early then taking customers (I posted a review on their page). That’s how we ended up here!
I didn’t get a chance to check their time but I believe it was 9. We pulled up about 5 after and the 2 guys behind the window were sweet enough to open up and help us, as well as the guy in front of us although they closed. Sadly, I didn’t have small bills for a bigger tip. Their tone was pleasant, they were patient, helpful, eager to help and the ice cream was OK.

The Polar Bear is one of my musts whenever I am in the poconos. I dream about having one of their egg creams all year. Don’t forget to buy a t-​shirt so you can show your love anywhere you go!
