Harley-Davidson of Charlotte

This is one of the top dealerships in the country when it come to customer satisfaction. Evidently they took allot of time to train their staff or are lucky to find talented, professional and courteous people to make a customer have a excellent experience. I recently moved to South Carolina and had bad experience with that crappy COX Harley Davidson in Rock Hill. Two days ago I had a issue with my new 2014 Ultra with engine noise. I called Charlotte HD and spoke with Jim & Jordan. They immediately sent a truck to pick up my bike at the house, had it diagnosed and taken apart by the second day. They explained to me the malfunction in the motor, warranty a new motor and by next week will have me back on the road. I went there today to introduce myself to the service dept. and walked around bit. Every employee from the cashier, mechanic to manager that I confronted was a pleasurable experience. Hats off to HD of Charlotte.

I am probably not the target market for a motorcycle place — this or any other — but it so happened that we stopped by for a festival that they were having, hung out for the day, and it was mostly because of the staff. While we had been by other locations, they are not nearly as friendly as the staff here. I even took a riding class, and while it helped determine that I may want to embrace the wilder side, it’s just not the right time.
That doesn’t mean the staff can’t help you — everyone from the greeters to the mechanics to the sales and finance staff were friendly from top to bottom, and they don’t even mind if you just want to browse (frankly, I think that’s how they suck you in).
The only downside, such as it is, is that they are back from the road a bit, so it’s tough to see just where they are. The bonus is that they have a nice parking lot out back where they can conduct their classes, just behind the building (or have a party). While other dealers may have large, flashy buildings you can see from the road/​freeway, this is a low-​slung affair you can hardly see. It makes for more of a family affair, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Nothing at all.

Such a great experience. I had gone to cape fear Harley Davidson first and they make it seem like you should be grateful they allow you to but something from them. Hd of Charlotte was the opposite. They have a great selection and you can see it online before you go. The sales man was direct and helpful, but the shinning star is Steve in financing. He worked hard to get me great financing and for the price I could afford. Seriously, for a week he rode harley (no pun intended) until they were able to strike a deal. I drove from fayetteville and I don’t regret the drive. To find a dealer that treats you right is like finding a unicorn.

Finally … A Harley dealership in the greater Charlotte area that has AMAZING customer service and a fantastic team of employees.
We visited dealerships in Charlotte, Statesville, Winston-​Salem and Salisbury and had horrible service; no one seemed to want our business. Then we found HD of Charlotte in Matthews.
From the minute we walked in the doors of HD of Charlotte, we had exceptional service. Robin in sales went above and beyond to get us the bikes we wanted. Doug in parts spent a ton of time getting all the parts we were looking for. Stevie in finance took care of all our business and insurance needs. Within 3 days this team of employees had taken care of every detail and we bought the 2014 customized Street Glide we’d gone in to buy… AND we took home a 2005 Springer that we’d been searching for over the past year !!! We won’t do business anywhere else. THANK YOU HD of Charlotte !

Difficult to work with, Will not honor there price quotes.

This Harley store may not be as glamorous as some of the Harley stores around the country, but they have everything that you need. I can not review the store completely, as I have never bought a bike from them. I have sat down a couple of times with them to make a deal but I was never successful. What I can say is that their sales team is very professional. I didn’t feel pressured or haggled by the sales staff during my time there. The store’s inventory of bikes is a little on the smaller side. The accessories and parts departments has everything you need though. I found that they had your typical Harley pricing on all their items. Which was to be expected. For me though the biggest thing going for them is the convenience of the store. Very easy to get to, and also to get what you need and get out.

Great people, great experience, I highly recommend them. I have been to several area Dealerships, the people at this Harley Dealership have always gone above and beyond. I began going there for service and recently purchased my new Street Glide from Bill, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
