Matthews Towing & Automotive

The towing came out to my house to tow to a body shop and the driver almost forgot to charge me (until I reminded him that I needed to pay). We went to the shop to wait for the car to arrive and the driver still had not arrived with the car– turns out he went to another body shop (despite us giving him the correct address). We had to wait over an hour for him to arrive. I called the company and asked if they could discount the price for this inconveniece, she initially said no but then called and said they would charge $ 60 instead of $ 72. I will use someone else next time.

I used their services the day before and no issues but called the next day for their help. The owner told me the truck services are 24 hrs and someone is in the office to receive calls until 10p. I needed a tow from one location to another that was located literally across the street! I was informed it would take about an hr for a driver to come out… no problem, and the business owner needed to be present… no problem as the owners were well aware and had no issues as they were already staying. I told him I’d call this business with the owners approval but got hold of the receptionist who gladly told me you must’ve talked to my boss because I dont know what you’re talking about. I get your ready to leave for the day, we’ve all been there before. At least try to listen when I’m trying to give you the information needed for the tow service. I gladly took my service and money to Williams Wrecker Services for the exact same rate and «not a problem» spirit. Also the car shop owner that had no issue with the tow truck coming was Christian Family Automotive. *thumbs up to these companies*

Our truck wouldn’t start and AAA called Matthews towing. They called back within 30 minutes and said they would be out within the hour. When no one came or called, I called them and was told that the guy was dropping off a car and would be right over after that. I let her know that my garage closes at 5:30 (it was 4:30 at this point), and asked if they would be able to get it there in time. She said yes, that we were next. At 4:54, someone called and said they would arrive at 5:45, and asked if that would be ok. I told her no, and she had no knowledge of the prior promises. Now I have to take off work on Monday and have it towed then. I understand that sometimes things don’t go as expected, but this was HOURS of waiting and I was told something different every time. If they had told me when I called that they weren’t coming, I could have made other arrangements.

Excellent service! They had my vehicle towed and repaired within a few hours. Great value as well. It’s going to be my new go to garage!

Just had amazing service from Robert with Matthews Towing & Automotive. He came to tow me to an auto shop, but was able to fix my car right where it sat. I will definitely be using Matthews Towing & Automotive for all the work on my cars now.
