Today I purchased a new phone and transferred a number from AT&T and it was a fantastic experience. I arrived promptly when this location opened and Jolene greeted my wife and I as soon as we walked inside. We had some issues with porting my number from AT&T but Jolene stayed on hold with Verizon and AT&T for nearly an hour figuring everything out. She was extremely kind the entire time and was very knowledgeable about both the product and the services. Dealing with phones isn’t exactly fun but Jolene made the process painless and the management team at this location continued to check on us during our lengthy stay. My only suggestion to anyone planning on visiting this location is to arrive when they open! Just a few minutes after we walked inside, most of the associates were assisting someone, and there were some people who had to wait on someone to help them.

Typical poor service. We called ahead and were offered a trade in on our phone. We had to call back and we learned that our phone was too old for the trade in offer but they would honor what we had been told on the prior call as long as we came in and mentioned the call and the offer. When we arrived the rep who made the offer had gone home and the manager said he would NOT honor the offer. We suggested that he call the rep but the manager said he wouldn’t honor the offer even if the rep confirmed he had told us he would… so we left the store very disappointed. AVOID this location!!!

We went in to get a new phone on a rainy day. As we opened the door to a crowded store, we were quickly greeted by Cindy. She didn’t just take our name as the«greeter» does in most stores, she actually was a rep who could actually help us. She didn’t try to upsell us either. We actually ended up. taking her suggestion based on my husbands needs, and walked out with a new FREE phone. Yes, we did pay $ 35 for activation. Cindy was knowledgable, nice and funny. I would wait just to speak to her. The store was clean, large and well staffed. The 2.5 stars are not a good representation of the stellar staff and location.

Is it possible to get a cell carrier that has good service and sales. I hate Verizon. They are scam artist. They are so sweet when you are buying and so difficult when there is an issue. The manager is such a pathetic example of customer service. Best Buy Dell and AOL Radio Shack Time Warner we have another company in the race to the bottom. The other options are just as bad. Where is MaBell?

I have mixed feelings about this Verizon location. My last visit(where my check-in came from) was a decent one. Just had to upgrade my mom’s phone. It helped the store wasn’t busy so we were greeted at the door right away and then taken care of. The people that work here seem nice… however there were a couple of times where the guy helping us started referencing some inside jokes with his co-workers regarding some people walking into the store… I didn’t really know how to react. Either way, he got the job done. There was another time where I came in here to order the Droid Incredible and the woman who helped me flat out lied to me and told me my phone would reach me in 3 days… TRY3.5 weeks(AND I had to go all the way to Carowinds [FedEX] pick up location just to pick it up since they needed someone at the residence to sign for the package. LAME. I totally activated the phone myself without having to go to the store and see that lady again. Needless-to-say… I did not see her working there during my last visit. Whoops I just noticed that this location has moved to Matthews Corners. I’ll try to edit the business page to reflect the change in address(just down the road).
