The Good: Compared to Champaign or Chicago, the prices are much lower here. The staff are friendly. The main area, bathrooms and theaters are clean. They run current movies. You can add your own butter to the popcorn. The Bad; The seats are outdated and a bit worn out. The ventilation does not seem to work well and the theaters get hot. They don’t serve hot dogs during the week days. The weekday hours of operation are limited to evening only.

Very overpriced, but I have always gone to this theater and it really is great. I like the atmosphere and how you can add your own butter to your popcorn. The best part of me is the ICEE drinks! I love those. The only thing they could stand to do is add a student discount.

They are priced ridiculously high and always closing super early. Sometimes they don’t even get any of the good movies and we have to go to Terre haute or savoy. I also think maybe they should get student ticket prices but that’s just me. The snacks are just like normal movie snacks, over priced and ridiculous.

This is a nice, clean theater that shows moving pictures on a giant screen. Staff is friendly and about as good as it gets for a group of normally young employees who are quietly hating their lives. I hate going to the movies, but this theater makes it a little better.

New to me: Add your own butter to your popcorn! Cool idea! Also, this theater was not over crowded on a Saturday night during a thunderstorm and the release of Monsters University. Pleasant surprise and will look forward to going again sometime!

Being the only movie theatre in town(for Mattoon and Charleston), there is not a lot of competition to keep prices down, however this theatre is definitely cheaper than seeing a movie in a urban area. There is only one screen that offers stadium seating(usually the new, anticipated film) and if you get there early enough the prices can get as low as $ 4 per ticket. However for normal prices we have paid as high as $ 9.50 per ticket(non-3D movie). Snack prices are outrageous just like any other movie theatre in the US.

Your typical overpriced theater($ 11.50 for a 3D ticket) with no student discount in site(even with EIU just down the road). No stadium seating and they’ve jacked up prices since AMC took over. The only saving graces are 10 screens and 3D.
