Zoup!

Excellent Soups, Sandwiches, and Salads!!! People are human, and mistakes are made; however the employees at this location exceed customer service relations! I placed a large order for our office, and picked it up. When I returned to the office we noticed that one of the sandwiches was missing. When we called, they knew who we were and offered to deliver it to us… IN PERRYSBURG!!! THEN, they surprised us by including a gift certificate for our next order!!! We will definitely be back!!! (Mushroom Barley, and the Chicken Pot Pie are to die for!!!)

Simply put, this was a great place. The soups, salads, and sandwiches were simply amazing. This place was described to me as a version of Panera that focuses less on bread and more on their soups.
This place let’s you sample any of the soups. We were introduced to this place by Bryan, who was great in giving us the run down for our first experience. They serve 12 soups daily which rotate from a docket of over 100 soups. On the day I went, I had the chicken pot pie soup and my dad had the chili. Both were great.
In short, this is a great soup/​salad/​sandwich place. It’s a perfect spot for lunch that’s healthy and light on the wallet.

After my dentist appointment yesterday, I decided to stop in at Zoup to get some soup to go. I was in Maumee at the time so I went to the location on Dussel Drive. Everytime I’m there I taste every soup then decide which two I want. Out of nowhere this middle aged guy comes up to me and says «Hi, I’m so and so the owner and you can buy something or get out because you’re not getting one more free smaple.» I tried explaining that I was just about to buy something and he snapped «You’ve had almost a free cup of soup and your not getting one more drop without buying something.» …I have never been more insulted at a restaurant. I let the cashier know that I was going to buy two soups but now I won’t be thanks to your rude owner. I will never come back to this Zoup.

So impressed with the employees! They were all incredibly helpful and kind. I was so blown away by the way they treated each guest. The soup was so fresh and tasty. I will definitely be a regular.

Great soup and sandwiches! The lobster bisque is to die for. Another treat is their ginger butternut squash soup. Once you enter they always offer a sample of any of their soups to help you make a decision. Their soups come with a choice of 3 types of bread. It’s a great afternoon lunch place. I highly recommend.

Lobster bisque is amazing. This place is neat and has a good vibe, the staff is amazing, they are polite and will take care of you. Prices are good too. I got a turkey sandwich, the turkey was fresh and fills you up, they serve soups, salads and sandwiches.

Decided to try this place out on a chilly and rainy day. What a perfect combination it was!
The place was roomy. Plenty of seats. And the layout was nice.
In regards to cleanliness, I found it to be clean which is always a plus at any restaurant/​food service place.
This is a soup/​sandwich/​salad place. If that is not what you want then don’t bother stopping by.
We ordered a soup in a bread bowl, sandwich and two bowls of soup. I personally really enjoyed their lobster bisque. Had nice big chunks of lobster and was flavored perfectly. Hubby had the clam chowder which was also good. Kiddos had the cheeseburger soup. Had chunks of burger meat and tomatoes. They didn’t care much for it but it wasn’t that bad. All their soups were very rich and creamy though, consistency of Campbell’s soup but definitely not the flavor. They serve bread with your soup. Nothing spectacular but it complimented the soup well. The sandwich was some sort of Tuscan chicken sandwich. It was tasty, but also nothing spectacular. I’d probably stick with the soups. Very filling! Also, you can sample just about anything before you order. There is always 12 different variety of soups, two are daily but the rest change. I only remember that they serve the chicken pot pie daily. So you might want to call ahead if you’re looking for something specific.
They have a pop machine and some sweet snacks (cookies and brownies).
The service was GREAT! So friendly, helpful and welcoming!
In regards to the price, you’re looking at about $ 10 a person, depending on what you order. But if you’re there to satisfy a craving for tummy warming savory soup, then Zoup is the place to go!
I’ll definitely be back again!

Sometimes on a brisk fall day, you just want a nice warm cup of soup! Zoup is the perfect place to go. They have a large selection of soups–
12 different types. Ten of the soups change daily and they have the lobster bisque and one other one every day (I forget the other one).
They offer samples of the soups so that you can try them before you choose which is great! So if you don’t like the soup you got, shame on you for choosing it.
They also serve salads and sandwiches as well. Plus there is hot sauce at every table!
