Love this place. RC and Ljuba and Nikko have a wonderful establishment. I’ve tried everything on the menu and it’s all awesome. They probably have the best pizza and burgers in Maumelle. Their servers are the best and don’t even get me started on their bartender Molly. If it’s your first time there introduce yourself to the owners. They like meeting new people and appreciate your business.

Not very friendly. I’m from new Orleans. Place is very unfriendly. If your not a regular. Intimidating. And I’m not intimidated. Ever. But this is a good old boy place. Regular your good. If they don’t know you. They treat you that way. Which is not New Orleans.

I often find myself here because everything else has closed, and it’s always a great choice. I recommend going on a day that they have a great special going, like crab legs or shrimp. The jambalaya is really good. The chicken nachos are also really delicious. Even the pizza was surprisingly great when they brought that in. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a laid back place to grab a drink and some good food.

This place is a hit or miss. They have AMAZING fries. My mom had the cajun shrimp pasta that was a Thursday special and said it was the best she’s ever had. Though, their crawfish ettouffee was pretty bad. It tasted very dirty, so I know the crawfish meat wasn’t the best. Other than that, the service is good, though slow. And I think it is too expensive for what you get. However, they did split the large étouffée between my husband and me without extra charge.

Have not been there since new management took over, but former menu was great N.O. type food, super gumbo, po’r boys, and bread pudding to die for

I have gone here time and time again, and I have to say it’s been excellent EVERY time I’ve went. I’ve only ordered the fish tacos(which are amazing!), but my boyfriends has tried a lot of different dishes and he enjoyed every one of them thoroughly. The salsa taste fresh, and the chips are warm and soft, which is how I prefer it. They also have my favorite drink, Angry Orchard, which most bars/restaurants do not carry. They have holiday specials on drinks as well. I have the Red, White, and Blue special and it was very pretty to look at. The waitresses are both experienced and cute! You could go there to sit at the bar with friends, or take the family out to dinner. The atmosphere is wonderful all around. My only complaint is that the food cooks slowly, but it’s totally worth it in the end! Definitely recommend to family, friends, and anyone who enjoys southern, down-home, Cajun cooking.

Wow… if you’ve ever had good Cajun food in LA(or anywhere in the south), and are looking for something comparable, this is not your place. I tried it again recently after several years of avoiding due to poor food at a previous visit. Things under the new management haven’t gotten any better. I wish it was good, but it’s simply a pretty poor excuse for«Cajun» food. I can see going for a couple drinks potentially, but would certainly not recommend going there for a meal.

I was skeptical bc of some of the reviews but tried them for my birthday yesterday and wow!!! You haven’t had cornbread until you try their fresh water cornbread. The catfish benginets and Jumbalaya are the real deal. I finished off my birthday lunch with the bourbon bread pudding and OMG it is perfection. This is coming from someone who used to have desert from the Pacific Club in Newport Beach. It was amazing!

My husband and I enjoyed our yummy Cajun dinner! I had the Voodoo plate and my husband had the chicken sandwich. We split a seafood gumbo, the special for the day, for an appetizer. Everything was hot and fresh. The waitress was kind and attentive. We look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.

Delicious blackened catfish and the cornbread will have you begging for more. My waitress Molly had her«A» game on. She never let my drink get half empty.

The service 1 year ago was pathetic! The food was the only saving grace. Tonight, the service was awesome,(Thank you Molly) and the food was much better than it ever has been. I STRONGLY recommend this business! Arkansas owned with pride.

One of my favorite seafood restaurant in this city. The service to get the food is kind of slow but it’s because they soak the shrimp and crab legs in a Cajun boil. Shrimp is fantastic! Crab legs is okay but still tasty. Def a spot I keep coming back to when I am in town.

01−30−156:00PM I knew signs were outside stating ‘under New Management’, so I decided to try again and hope things had improved. I was really looking forward to get some Peel & Eat Shrimp. I hoped they would now have it every day, but nope, still just on Tuesday and Saturday, and Sunday Feb. 1st only. So I ordered the Starter fried oysters, six for $ 9.95. Obviously frozen institutional. Instead of plump and juicy, they were mostly batter with pieces of oysters and small shriveled ones, they were not very good, especially for the price. I also ordered, by waiter recommendation the gumbo. They offered a cup — $ 3.95, small bowl-$ 7.95, Lg bowl– $ 9.95. At waiter’s suggestion, I ordered the small. When it came, I thought I got the cup in error(it was a cup size anywhere else).it was the size of a coffee cup for $ 7.95, very over priced for the size. Well, guess what, it was not very good, very watery, lot of rice and not much other goodies. It had some chicken and sausage. I prefer shrimp, oysters, oh well, I ordered a draft beer, came in a frozen glass, very cold and good. When I ordered a second beer, I got it in the same glass, now, room temp. Paid and left without ordering anything else. New owners need new menu ideas, shrimp, oysters and crab legs on the menu every day. Bob Weiler

Amazing shrimp martini app. The burgers are wonderful. The only thing I did not like was the water. It was free so I did not consider in for this evaluation.

I feel like I missed Mardi Gras tonight. I was there… I know the good stuff was there too… but somehow, my ‘beads’ didn’t earn me any of the prizes I know were available… Too bad. Let me explain… Wait staff make all the difference when a stranger walks into a new establishment. We count on them… We need their help. We want to know what they think… Tonight I walked into what could have been a good time. After seating, our waitress threw menus on our table, came back for a drink order. When I asked if they had an IPA, she said no. I asked for a beer list and she gestured and just stood there. I ordered a coke. Swing. Miss. 1 Food: When we asked her what was good on the menu, what she preferred, what was popular, etc., we got the typical, «everything is good». Ugh. Service from the kitchen was fast and the food was good. We watched the table next to us order a slew of desserts… In fact, the patrons were very enthusiastic about ordering them. When they came, they looked great. Our waitress on the other hand, decided we were not going to order dessert and placed our bill on the table… Guess she didn’t want us to have any desert? So… We didn’t. It didn’t have to be this way… But it was… Because she got what she wanted. She served us and got paid. Mardi gras doesn’t have to reward ya… But if I want it… And am willing to pay you in beads or money… I want you to reciprocate. Please. So… The food was good. Were we pleased? Nope. Too bad.

The service was great. We had a nice waitress. But man… the food was awful. First… clean your menus. The menus were sticky and dirty. Both of ours was. I had the crawfish étouffée…the rice was under cooked… that’s a basic thing, especially for a restaurant. It was very bland. She had the Cajun trio which was gumbo, jambalaya, and red beans and rice. All bland, No flavor at all. I was excited about this place bc I support local, but hving 4 things off the menu and all bad… I hope they turn things around.

Debated hard about eating here or one other place nearby, both with catfish on menu. This should have been 1st choice hands down. The food was excellent! Fried ‘shrooms were really good, but catfish was outstanding!!! Nice and clean taste and Cajun fries were really good. Wanted to try a dish with hot water cornbread because I didn’t think anyone could top mine. This was almost as good as mine taste and texture-wise, but the hint of jalapeño took it to another level. Loved it. I wish I had enough room for the pecan cobbler. Don’t let the store-front strip center fool you. The food was great. Nice sports bar setting.

My boyfriend and I just ate here for the first time and we will definately be back! I had the Voodoo plate(Cajun seasoned catfish and shrimp with fresh veggies) he had the fried catfish po boy, both dishes were great! We also ordered the hot water cornbread(do not order it thinking it will be traditional cornbread, more like a small hushpuppy pancake) but very good!

Jambalaya dry & bland. Étouffée watered down & extremely bland. Caesar seafood salad was just odd, dressing was unlike any Caesar I’ve had & the imitation crab. I mean really?! Not even a bottle of hot sauce on the table to mask the fact they serve can soup. Arkansas is not N. Dakota. I expect better cajun fare in a Cajun border state.

I’m glad to see that Boudreaux’s is still going strong In Maumelle(technically NLR.) We don’t always support our local restaurants as we should, as so many of us are commuters. It’s been awhile since I’ve eaten at Boudreaux’s, and their homemade jambalaya sounded oh-so-good. We arrived at about 7:30 on Saturday night, and they were packed! They have different specials daily, and Saturday is seafood night. They were boiling crawfish outside and airing the basketball game inside, which made for a fun atmosphere(something I felt was lacking previously.) The positives: Our waitress was really good — friendly, efficient, and attentive. The food was excellent. The jambalaya was delicious as always. My husband loved his blackened chicken sandwich, although his«Cajun fries» were just plain fries(not sure if this was a mistake?) And, the bread pudding was good, although it would have been better if it had a little more bourbon glaze soaked in to it. The only negative is that we waited an hour for food. If running that far behind, it’d be nice if they mentioned it. They could probably have used a few more employees. Overall, we had a great experience. Looking forward to going back for the red beans and rice and pulled pork sandwich specials!
