Build-A-Bear Workshop

If you’ve never done the Build A Bear thing with your kids, you should because it’s fun. It’s a bit pricey, so it makes a great birthday or Christmas gift idea. It’s good to start out with about a $ 60 gift card (and look for coupons to include which are good for as much as $ 10). My oldest daughter really enjoyed her experience at Build a Bear. What’s really cool is after you create your own personalized bear, it gets a birth certificate, a passport (which gets stamped any time you go to any B-​A-​B store anywhere in the world) and a corresponding online account. My daugher plays with her bear online ALL the time and just loves it. At first the price of the bear and clothing might seem a bit steep, but when you include the online game time, it’s definitely worth it.
This store is staffed by very enthusiastic and friendly staff. Actually, maybe their slightly creepily OVER enthusiastic, but that’s okay because the kids were into it. It’s better than being waited on by someone who hates their job.
