Webbs Resort

Customer service is not a strong point. Pool closed. I wanted a discount because we asked for a pool when reserving a room. I asked for a manager. Wasn’t there. After complaining again, the owner was called! It got worse from there.

Waited half an hour to get our bill when the restaurant was dead. The server could not remember that we where on separate checks and messed everything up. For the service that we received I would not come back

This is a really fun relaxed style restaurant. It features a porch that sits atop the top of the hotel and it features an amazing view of the lake and surrounding area. Their food is really good from seafood to tasty burgers. They even have some tasty beer on draft and if you go at the right time the breeze feels amazing and the weather is just perfect. The waiters are really nice and I highly recommend getting a seat by the edge so you can look out onto the lake and see the views. It’s a great lunch spot and it doesn’t take to long even if it gets busy

Big fan of Webbs. Second year in a row we have stayed at this hotel while visiting Chautauqua, which is right down the road. They have a really nice indoor pool that our kids used every night and a very very nice miniature golf. In the morning they have a free breakfast … nothing hot, but the food was tasty. Muffins, bananas, toast, juice, coffee, etc. The rooms were fairly recently renovated and are very clean. TVs were new flat screens. The location is fantastic … it is right down the road from the Chautauqua Institution and literally on the lake. We had a lake view from our room with a nice balcony. Candy shop next door where they make their own fudge was fun for the kids … they give free samples and you can wander in to the back to see the factory area where the candy is made. Can’t beat it for the price. We stayed down the street a few years back and it was more expensive and no pool. Kids always prefer Webbs … thanks for another great stay! See you next summer!

The rooms smelled bad, bathtub was filthy with hair in it, tv was very small with a bad picture, ice machine was gross and dirty, only had 2 towels for a room that sleeps 4, no staff on site at night, etc.
Oh one other thing had to pay extra for mini golf only to get kicked off half way thru because they were done for the night. Why would you start a group of people if you were closing soon!?!
I would never suggest any one to stay there! Paid way too much for that!

Good accomodations: swimming pool, breakfast, located near the lake. A bit pricey for a standard room: though it was clean and well-​looked after. Paying extra for the mini-​golf was a turn-​off– come on! Quick drive to Chautauqua or can take the boat.
