I love a DIVE burger place! Yes, it is old and completely outdated. Although, it is very clean. This place is awesome. The burgers are freshly made to order. The lettuce was fresh and crisp. The bun was fresh and not stale. The patty was a little thin, but I ordered the quarter pound instead of the third pound. The fries were crispy and lightly salted. It was also a generous portion.

I was a little skeptical of eating here. I wanted Hutchins but they were way too crowded so we stopped here. The prices are very reasonable and the food was really great. The burger reminds me of a Sonic burger except I actually enjoyed it. The cheese was melted perfectly on the burger. The cheese sticks were better than most sit down restaurants. Very good for being fast food. The onion rings were cooked perfectly and crisp. The french fries really are not that great though. Which is okay because everything was on point. The guy even gave us ranch and ketchup without having to ask him. $ 14 for an order of fries, onion rings, cheese sticks, and two burgers is a great deal. Will be back again.

Do not be mistaken by its run down nature, this place serves very good fast food — priced similar to a sonic and mcd, but quality is way better. Also they have Gyro and a huge menu to select from.

Burgers are decent, fries have no seasoning so used extra ketchup. Shakes are great. Decent prices.

This place is a hidden gem. Driving by, it looks like a really old dive, so I’ve ignored it many many times. Finally one day I remembered to look the place up on Unilocal when I saw that it had quite a good review. Decided to drive thru one evening and boy was I pleasantly surprised! You order right from the window, so you’ll have a little bit of a wait for your food since they don’t have a speaker to place your order in advance. That was okay, there weren’t any cars in line when I went. The burger I ordered was quite delicious. The mushrooms were just okay, I’ll try one of their many other side options next time. The other reviews are accurate… the prices on some things are just fine, but there are some items on the menu that seem very strangely priced. For example you can get a burger, fries, and a drink for $ 5…but the fried mushrooms side order(serves 1 – 2, about the size of a medium mcdonalds fry container) costs $ 4.50. So if you aren’t paying attention when you order, you can easily end up spending up to $ 15 per person. Other than that, assuming you’re not looking for atmosphere, Pride Burger is an excellent burger and a much tastier option than your typical fast food joint.

Ok I ordered a ½ lb burger meal and a shake which cost me almost $ 11. They added bacon when I didn’t ask for it. The hamburger meat had no seasoning that in turn left me with a flavorless burger. Fries weren’t salted and were undercooked. To top it off my chocolate shake wasn’t chocolaty at all. I will say their sweet tea is great but not enough to make me want to go back.

Decent little hamburger joint. Kind of expensive on some things, but really cheap on others. The shakes are pretty good, supposedly made with Blue Bell ice cream(always a home run in my book). Fries are average, burgers a little better than average. Other menu items like the chicken fried steak and similar things can be hit or miss. This place does a great chili-cheese dog and they do a typical fast food fried burrito that you will remember. The burrito comes out with a molten hot center and nice and crispy on the outside. Not exactly a great choice for date night, but a fantastic choice if you are looking for a junk food fix. The whole place has an odd vibe to it, but the people there are friendly enough and service is quick. We eat here every other month or so and the place is consistent. Good report on the health department inspection too, a perfect score with no demerits. Clean as a whistle and decent food for a decent price what’s not to like about a drive in burger joint that is 110% better than the chains ? Give it a shot, take a car load of kids and live a little, get a burrito… the kids love it about 2 hours later if you get my drift ;)

Nice little dive burger joint that is conveniently located but away from most traffic. I have driven by here tons of times and finally decided to stop in with the family for a quick early dinner. Food quality is about the same as a DQ, and there is nothing wrong with that. Burgers are obviously frozen but of a decent quality and are large for the price. Same with the fries. Both could have used a little bit more seasoning during prep. Burgers and buns are grilled on a flat top to just the right doneness. Prices are good. 4 of us ate for a hair over $ 20, which is no more than the same amount of food would have cost at a fast food place. That included 1 double cheeseburger, 1 cheeseburger and 2 hamburgers plus 3 drinks and 3 orders of fries. Might have been a 3 star, but I am giving an extra star for the owner who came over and chatted with my family while we waited for our food. He also asked us if we wanted refills of our drinks to go. Those small things make a difference especially at a little local joint like this. We will definitely be back.

Good food, good service. Family business. My father in law asked for something not on the menu(ham and egg sandwich) and they made it for him. That wins points with me. Pretty standard drive in menu — burgers, fries, nachos, hot dogs, burritos, shakes, soft serve ice cream, etc.

I passed this burger joint a few times visiting a friend in McKinney. I finally rolled the dice and went in. The owners were really nice and the burgers were awesome. The fries were respectable, as well. Definitely worth the visit if you’re in the area.

We were on the hunt for a cheap dinner, Jessie reminded me of this place on 380. I’ve passed it a 1000 times yet never stopped. I was pleasantly surprised, I expected it to be more dive-y. It’s a TINY diner. Order at the counter, sit down, they bring it to you. There is a LOT to choose from and it all looks good. My daughter’s beef nachos were surprisingly great, very simple(chips, meat, cheese, jalepenos) but QUALITY beef. I was impressed. The burgers AND fries were really good. I love the ice in the drinks… sort of like snow. Good stuff for a good price.

Strange little fast-food burger joint, but a solid hamburger you don’t have to wait 30 minutes in the drive-thru to get(i’m looking at you In-n-out). One day I had a tasty no-frills hamburger, the other a gyro on unfortunately dried out pita bread. The onion rings were excellent though.

The family and I have been eating here for 7 years. Burgers are always good. The fries are exceptional. Lots of variety! Fajitas were good, BLT is awesome. Family run by Dad, sons, uncles, and cousins from the old country. They always welcome you and have built a loyal customer base. Inexpensive and great choice for a budget

I have been going to this dive for years, but don’t let the outside sway you from not going, they are great. The hamburgers are better than your average«Fast Food» place. The french fries are mmmmm good. The fried mushrooms are always hot and oh, so good. But what I really go there for is the Greek food, it’s crazy good, especially for fast food, and the sauce, wow. It is a mom & pop place and the owners are so nice. They have a very big menu and everything I have had has been good. If you are in the neighborhood and want a good fast, food burger and fries, stop by, you won’t be sorry.
