I went to the Tyson Center American Eagle earlier this week, I was shopping their Aerie line for women. I had a exchange that I had purchased online and needed a different size. The staff was super helpful and eager to help me. When the size I needed was sold out, both in store and online they did a great job being flexible and helped me find something similar. I appreciate their attitudes throughout the whole process.

Worst customer service. The employees there don’t care about their customers. We were waiting for the register and were told that the line was in another place in order to keep the aisles clear which is fine but then the employee walked away muttering under her breath that people were stupid. The waiting line is not intuitive or clearly marked so, no, we weren’t being stupid; the layout of the store is bad. Just our luck we had the same employee to ring us up and she just balled up the clothes and tossed them in a bag. Didn’t even attempt to fold it.

I like the clothes here, but find there not consistent sizing. Some things for me here fit, but most of the stuff is too big. The prices aren’t great, a while back ago they advertised under $ 30 jeans, okay so went in the store and the jeans are $ 29.99. Under $ 30, yeah but hardly at all. Also there was a sign that said(can’t find your size jean or wash you like, then jeans are $ 25) ohh well what a discount… Yeah not. But I do like the sale items which tend to be in the back.

Buying jeans is ranked pretty high on my list of things I absolutely despise doing. It’s just below pulling teeth and just above doing taxes on that list. My experience here today was actually excellent. Cool fitting rooms personally made for you and excellent employees that are helpful and are happy to grab different sizes for you. Jeans buying started with Anthony up front explaining the sales and types of jeans and ended with Amber grabbing a million sizes to fit my short stature and skinny legs. I felt like Santa asking elves to help me with sizing. Great experience, really made something I hate doing, easy and fun.

First time I came here they gave me the wrong change back. The people that work there are not easy to talk to, pretty snippy and hate life I’m guessing. I attempted to return a pair of shorts over the weekend at the Tyson’s Corner, VA location. When I bought the shorts I had done a few exchanges for the new items I was buying. On the bottom of the receipt it is evident that I recieved cash back due to the difference of the returned items and the new items. The female manager refused to return the items and claimed she could only give me $ 4.55 for the shorts(the difference of cash on the receipt) because I did not have the receipt of the items I had previously returned. This is funny to me, because the Fair Oaks location just did a return back on my Mastercard with basically the same scenario and did not claim to need another receipt. Re-train your Tyson’s employees AE!
