I spend Hundreds of dollars per year in Williams Sonoma of Tysons Galleria. On Aug. 17, 2015, I went in between 3 – 4 pm to buy an All Clad Pressure Cooker($ 300). The older bespectacled lady told me to wait, as she was busy with ‘Computer entries’. When she finished a second customer/Browser walked in, had a 10 minute chit chat about stuff on sale & left. The staff lady/Manager went back to her Computer. After another 10 minutes, I asked if someone else was around. She said no and suggested, i come back later(after I spent 30 plus minutes). I came back later. She said, without looking up from screen, I could ask a question but she could not check prices of other items, I wished to buy. In the end, she did not have the Pressure Cooker, I wanted, yanked a Sale item away, saying it was mistakenly on Sale Table(priced 5 times more). I doubt it, bc the same Runner, in another color was on sale. When I asked for a Flour sifter, another staffer appeared and tried to pass a ‘Food Mill’ as Flour sifter. I had to bite my tongue. If you work here, you are not the Elite, you think, you are or you would not be working here. Customers sometimes should be indulged, even though it may involve some work on your part.

I bought a $ 429 juicer yesterday at Williams Sonoma in Tyson’s Galleria. Came home, opened the box and and not only the juicer was used, it was dirty(splashed, foggy inside). It was a terrible experience for a first time buyer. The worst part is that I had seen the same juicer in Amazon new for $ 50 less, but I wanted to save the shipping time… And I ended up paying full price for a second hand juicer that was also dirty. I am glad this was not a gift to someone else, otherwise it would have been so embarrassing! First and last time at WS. You don’t sell customers second hand items for new ones! Bad business.

As I’ve stated in a previous review about another Williams-Sonoma store, Williams-Sonoma is my foodie fetish store! Without fail, anytime I’m near a Williams-Sonoma, I must stop in to check out their«fetish» wares. The W-S in the Galleria may be the best store in the area. It has all of the products that you’ve come to expect in a W-S, but the retail space is spacious, very well laid out, and easy/logical to navigate and find what you’re looking for… much better than the Pentagon City store in that respect. The staff is helpful and seemingly knowledgeable. I bought a couple of gadgets that I didn’t need, but left happy when I walked out.
