Always smells good here and looks great! They sometimes have food samples. Price: Expensive. Selection: Awesome. Many my favorite kitchen knives here. Shun, global, etc… Customer service: Fabulous. Parking: Free at garages. Location: Sweet! Many nice shops and restaurants around here;)

This is mostly a review on Williams-Sonoma online, and not a reflection of this particular store. I had no issues when shopping in this store, but I wanted to get my online experience out there for other shoppers. I ordered a knife and spatula online. I placed my online order on Friday January 1, 2016. I did not receive ANY confirmation email to notify me of my purchase or of my shipping within the first 24 hours. I also did not receive any shipping number until Jan 10, 10 days later, and when I clicked that tracking number, it was invalid(I tried several times over the course of a few days). The delivery date came and went, with no delivery. I then got another email a few days later with a NEW tracking number, NEW delivery date, and again, the tracking number was invalid and the package never came as scheduled. I sent an email to customer service to try to solicit help with this matter, and NEVER got any response. Then, on January 20, I got an email saying that the spatula I ordered was on backorder. Seriously? Something that I ordered 20 days ago(back on Jan 1) is now on backorder, and you are telling me 20 days later? What kind of service and communication is this? I would not have ordered it online if I knew it was backordered, I would have instead returned to my local store to purchase it. And when is the anticipated stock to arrive? That was never included in the email informing me of the backordered item. At this point, I would be thrilled to get a refund on that item(the spatula) but I realize with the history on my order, asking for such a thing would go unnoticed and no one from customer service would respond to my request. I suppose my only option is to patiently wait and hope it arrives one day. I did get the knife, 21 days after it was ordered, and much later than both ship dates I was told to expect. Based on these incredibly frustrating experiences, I will NEVER shop at Williams-Sonoma again. I will also discourage any person I know from shopping at this establishment in the future, especially online.

I’m a fan of Williams-Sonoma in general… Stopped in here during a recent shopping trip to Tysons Corner Center — I had already visited The Apple Store and L.L. Bean… I was looking for this massive, oversized cocktail shaker they have on their web site. They only had one on display — and it was pretty beat up — with scratches and blemishes. I asked if there were any more — and they found me that last remaining shaker — and I also picked up a bottle of their Sriracha Bloody Mary mix, paid my bill, receipt was e-mailed to me! Love Williams-Sonoma!

Pretty shitty and disappointing experience today. I came in around 8:45 looking for a secret santa gift for work, and after meandering around for 15 minutes looking at everything with no idea what to buy, not a single sales associate asked me if I needed any help. Thanks — clearly I’m not browsing for anything specific, though I was looking around quickly at everything, and I really just wanted a generic gift for about $ 30 — $ 50. I didn’t find anything suitable at Tumi, so I came back here and settled on some popcorn making thing and a pumpkin slushie mix. Again without any offer of help. Fine, whatever, I don’t need your help anyways! What really ticked me off was that as I was checking out, I asked the ladies at the cash register if they would be able to wrap both things together. No big deal — if it’s troublesome, I said, I can just go pick up a gift bag somewhere. They insisted it would be fine, that they would use cellophane and/or tape them on top of another. Great, just wait here for a few minutes. 15 minutes later I get handed a big bag and a quick glance inside spies a red ribbon and box. Woohoo, all done and ready to go! It wasn’t until I walked all the way out to my car that I realized what a complete shit job they did. Not only were the two items completely separate, not taped together, not cellophane wrapped together or anything, but one of the(smaller) items was wrapped only in CLEARCELLOPHANE. CLEAR. SEETHROUGH. Are you kidding me? What am I supposed to do with a gift wrapped in CLEARSEETHROUGH wrapping paper? Thanks a f*cking lot, Williams Sonoma. I should have just gone to Target.

It’s pretty much like most other Williams-Sonoma stores: a nice selection, highish-end brands of products, and saleswomen that remind you of your mom. All kidding aside, the sales people are friendly and happy to help. Parking is pretty rough, so I would recommend walking or taking the metro if at all possible. The Clarendon metro stop is only about 3 blocks away.

Great store! Great place to pick up items for your kitchen and dining room. They have high end quality products and always have great customer service. Any time I want to buy a gift I always get great recommendations from the staff. They will even gift wrap. I love so many of their products like the waffle mix and the peppermint hot chocolate!

Overall: It’s a pretty typical Williams Sonoma store — good selection with a helpful staff. Selection: Store and name brands… mostly higher-end but if you wait for a sale, you can get a deal! They have a better stock of items than other WS I’ve encountered. This is a good place to pop in for simple things like oven mitts and kitchen towels. I swear I have dozens, but there’s nothing worse than a dirty kitchen towel. Location: If you can’t find it here, be sure to have them call the store at Tysons Galleria — it’s right down the street. And lets be honest, the Galleria is much easier to get into and out of.

I’m a fan of Williams-Sonoma for their selection of kitchen stuff. I love their customer service! They generally have products before other stores and sometimes that justifies the premium on these products. I love the products that I have purchased from W-S especially the Rosle food chopper. Also like their pasta sauces and spice mixes!

I had a great experience today as I was looking for a bridal shower gift for a friend of mine. It’s not that I was surprised because I have always left this store with a feeling of true accomplishment and that the sales associates wanted to be there to help the customers. After obtaining the registry for my friend, someone was right there to help me locate the items I wanted to purchase. Once I was ready to check out I had decided to purchase one more item and she ran out to grab it. When she finished scanning everything she peeled off the price tags and printed up a gift receipt without asking me — which was great! All in all, my trip to the store today was a great experience and I look forward to going back in to do some kitchen shopping!

This spot has a bit of everything for the kitchen, dining room and your belly. Their web site offers more but I’m content with the store itself. Great place to purchase various kitchen gadgets, electric toys, books and much more for yourself and/or anyone in your circle. I’ve purchased Riedel gift sets, Peugeot salt & pepper mills, a Cuisinart ice cream maker, WS exclusive hot chocolate pots, hand soaps, boxed candles, various tabletops and other items as gifts throughout the years. Always amusing to explore then play and a bonus if I know someone will benefit from my discoveries. I particularly enjoy the sweet delights during the holiday season. My addictions include the Original Peppermint Bark, Handcrafted Vanilla Marshmallows and the Peppermint North Poles(chocolate-coated peppermint sticks). Besides the sweets, I stock up on the WS exclusive boxed candles by Caldrea in Peppermint Snow. But my normal purchases are the Sprinkles Cupcake mixes, their exclusive boxed candle by Caldrea in Grapefruit Ylang Ylang, dishcloths, towels and various extra virgin olive oils. Friendly staff in a frolicsome environment.
