If you’re looking for old fashion down home cookin, then welcome to Al’s Place. It’s Saturday night and the specials are Pork Chop, or Frog Legs, or Catfish, or 10oz Rib Eye Steak. Portions are generous. Prices are unbelievable and the food is just darn good. Don’t expect fancy wine with dinner. Don’t expect table cloths. All you can expect is great and friendly service

A basic place that you’ll never stumble across unless you go looking for it. Very small town with a very small town restaurant. Family-run for decades, small, smoky, etc. Pretty dang good burgers and home-made pie. Daily specials that are all 100% diner fair. Prices are cheap compared to just about anywhere. This place probably looks just like it did 50 years ago… and that’s not always a bad thing. This place is sooooo small… How small is it? It’s so small that their website is only a facebook page: Notes: — Bring cash — they don’t take plastic and you can’t write a check unless they know you. — There are two factories as you drive in to town. This place is located behind the one on the east side of highway 51
