Food was great, service was awesome. Elk brat was out of this world. Great support of our emergency service brothers and sisters. Those of us on the job appreciate it.

Great hot dog! I had the Big Dawg and fries, a real foot long dog and a pile of fresh, hot thin fries. I stuck with my basic hot dog topping of relish and mustard, but I will try some of the others next time. The people here are super friendly, I look forward to trying the rest of the menu.

Good hotdogs and good onion rings. I like their speciality dogs with chilli and peppers. Good food and people. A little pricey for hotdogs but overall good place to eat. Glad they bounced back from stupid city of McDonough(there old location)

I am a native of Atlanta, born and raised, so, I grew up LOVING«The Varsity«, that was the standard, it was the god for hot dogs… but this place! Dare I say…(I know what I am about to say is blasphemy)…but…THEYAREBETTERTHAN«THEVARSITY«. The quiality of the meat, the chili, they put the buns on the grill, the onion rings are GREAT! It hurt me to type this!

Had a chili cheese dog and a slaw dog. The owner is very accommodating. Service impeccable and fast, even though very busy at lunch time. The staff was very nice and kind. The burgers smelled so good! But I wanted dogs. I will try their burgers and then update my review.

CJ’s Hot Dogs is another new dining option in the Hapeville Food scene. I came here for lunch on Wednesday to a pretty full restaurant. Usually most restaurants in this area are filled with people that in some way support the airport, but in this place was split about 50⁄50 between aviation related employees and older retirees. I don’t eat a lot of hot dogs, but every once in awhile I’ll indulge in one and I was not disappointed that I did this time. The menu here is long and for a first timer can be slightly intimidating. I decided on the«Big Dawg» combo, which as advertised is a big, no, gigantic hot dog. It came with 2 toppings(I choose chili and grilled onions) fries and a drink for around $ 8. The hot dog itself tasted great, came out piping hot, and was loaded with both chili and onions. This hot dog was so big that the bread it was served on could not really support the weight of the dawg. After making a big mess of myself, I defeatedly switched over to a fork and knife. It’s been a long time since I have had a hot dog this good, even with the failure of the bread I enjoyed my hot dog immensely. The fries were a bit disappointing, as they were both soggy and lukewarm. The guy at the counter who I think was the owner was very friendly and called everyone brother. Not sure if he called female patrons brother, or if he switched over to the more appropriate«sister» title for them, but I guess I’ll have to pay closer attention next time. Overall, I will definitely be coming back here, but I’m not sure if it will be making it into my weekly lunch rotation though.
