Best highlights I’ve ever gotten. And I have gotten so very very many. Biggest question is how I keep Erin as my stylist when I live in Washington DC. She’s also such a lovely person.

I love this salon and would recommend it to anyone who needs a great haircut, color, facial or pedi! The women who run this joint are legit– super nice & super talented! Really the best salon you could ask for!

Incredible salon, awesome staff! I recently moved into the area and Aveda Salons are the first ones I look for. I have never had a negative experience at any Aveda Salon and 3 Dimensions (my sixth) is no exception. When you come in you are greeted by friendly, welcoming people. Gina takes care of you from the moment you walk in the door until you leave, always with a smile on her face

Nicole carefully goes through consultation with you listening intently to make sure she knows exactly what you want, and is simply superb. She even fastidiousy checks beards and goatees to make sure they are the way you want them and trims them for you if desired.
Courtney is the best manicurist I have had in 10 years. And YES guys do get their nails done (you would be quite surprised at the number of executives who do). If you really want to take care of your hands, there is no better way to do so, and few that can do guys’ nails like Courtney can. She practiced on her boyfriend’s nails (lucky guy!) and she has it down to an art. And no, I don’t get color polish, :-p, just cuticle oil and possibly a clear top-​coat. You ought to try it sometime.

I’ve moved around several times in the last 10 years and seen at least 6 – 8 different stylists. I’ve had some REALLY bad haircuts and some that were good, but nothing great. My hair is… a challenge. It is curly in the back, straight in the front, thick, and there is tons of it. The only person who has ever been able to cut my hair with a positive result each and every time is Melanie at Three Dimensions. She is bubbly, professional, and incredibly talented. Her knowledge of the Aveda products only helps make my haircut that much better.
But this place goes way beyond just Melanie. I’ve had my hair cut by three different stylists there (I’m really bad at scheduling) and ALL of them were fantastic. They listen, understand, and recommend as needed. All of the ladies, including support staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. I feel like I’m going to hang with my friends.
My sister found this place first, and now mom and other sister, making four of us, all see Melanie at Three Dimensions Salon. I couldn’t recommend this entire business more. No matter who you choose as your stylist, I bet there will be a great result.

I have been going to Nicole for three years… she is not scissor happy! She will listen patiently to your expectations and help you arrive at a hair style that will compliment your face shape and that is age appropriate. I get a full foil with three shades and trim every nine weeks.
Nicole is a very pleasant hairstylist and I would recommend her highly!
