This Beall’s has basically three sections — one of normal clothes, one of little old lady elastic waist band clothes and one of dresses. There’s more to the store but I don’t need sleepwear, baby stuff or shoes from Beall’s and my husband does his own shopping. This place is on my list of places to stop when I’m clothes shopping but it is a skeptical listing. So far, I have bought two tops from here — one an Izod that I have decided I don’t like and a cute little purple top that I’m luke warm about. Still, I go because they have definite potential of having what I am looking for. I should note that I am closing fast and hard on the twentieth anniversary of my twentieth birthday. I wear jeans to work but t-shirts are a no-no so I’m looking for age appropriate casual wear. Generally, their regular clothes are a little too dressy for what I am looking for and the casual is way too elastic waistband-y. I really do like their dress section. Some are casual enough to not look too dressy and then there are some that are dressy enough for, say, church or a country club. You more than likely will not find anything a teenaged daughter would borrow but you’ll find something that will make your mother say you look cute.
