Love this pizza, many customization options. You can select well done dough and it’s delicious. A bit pricey, but worth it. If they ever make a mistake with your order, the manager will fix it.

Nice pizza. Classic New York Style pizza. Sold whole or by the slice. I ordered a slice with pepperoni and sausage. Standard crust, standard sauce, standard cheese.

Smells like a hair salon that specializes in perms. I could barely taste the pizza and I’m not sure if it was the pizza or the horrible smell in the restaurant. Went back a few days later to try again and the smell was still there. I walked out.

About a decade ago, I finally learned that seasoning + time + temperature = good food After this, I noticed that my family & friends constantly complain about how picky I am. This led to the realization that my family & friends are mean jerks! It’s not rude, wrong, picky, or ungrateful to dislike something that you are capable of making yourself. Especially when you make it better! I stopped by Brooklyn’s in the Kroger parking lot out of curiosity. I drive by it daily on ElDorado but never thought much. There were 3 employees & a friendly looking guy standing outside the counter. At first I thought he was a customer until he greeted me. I ordered 3 garlic sticks, a large Italiano minus scallions, & a lasagne for my husband. It waited about 15 minutes tops for this. On the way home I tried a piece of pizza in the car. I said a cussword when I started chewing. The cheese was very fresh, the garlic-marinated tomatoes were perfect. They have MASTERED the art of a thin crust. It’s not dry & cardboard-y, and it’s not soggy & flimsy in the center. It’s the perfect amount of crispy with just enough give to fold a little if you want. I tried my hubby’s lasagne. Needless to say, he’s lucky if he has any left when he gets off work. The sauce is wonderful! Just like I make at home. It’s a deep, dark red sauce with a thick & pasty texture. Not runny or greasy or any of the things I normally hate. (I can’t stand Olive Garden, for example) The pasta isn’t doughy or too chewy, the meat is NOT greasy, over cooked, or cooked too fast. I haven’t tried the salad dressing but it really doesn’t matter at this point. My BFF grew up in Staten Island with summers in NJ. I’m impatient to have her come here & try this place. I seriously have not even one thing I would want to see improved. My family has a new spot & I can’t wait to share it with them. :)

Loved the pizza and they were kind enough to give us a free pizza even though it wasn’t their fault that we miscommunicated over the phone. I will definitely go back and recommend this pizza to friends.

Being a Yankees fan and being raised right outside«the city»(if you are raised in that area everyone knows when people call it «the» city. Everyone is referring to NYC.) I am a big fan of New York style cheese pizza. This place is amazing!!!

I got the 18″ margarita pizza for ~$ 18. The pizza was huge, but the ingredients didn’t taste fresh. They didn’t use fresh mozzarella. FOOD: 3⁄5 SERVICE: 4⁄5 AMBIANCE: 4⁄5

The meat pie is great. My picky girl even loves it. And this review has to be so long before it will post …

Let me start by saying that I love this style of pizza. It is by far my favorite. The first few times I went to Brooklyn’s it was really good. My husband and I ordered from there last week and it was totally disgusting. He got a calzone which had virtually nothing in the middle and the sauce that was in there had huge chunks of peppers. It was mostly dough which wasn’t cooked all the way through. It looked to me like the dough had not been pressed or stretched enough and was probably old and over proofed(I worked in a pizza shop for a couple years as a teenager). My slice of cheese pizza was in the oven for too long and had brown cheese, there was no sauce, the slice was covered in old yellow oil from the cheese, and the dough had been pressed so thin that you could easily poke your finger through it, plus it was clearly old pizza. Sad. If they just had some people in there who cared even a little bit about their job then it would be good food. It is increasingly difficult to find good food and good service anywhere,

Sad to say this was my husbands favorite go to for delivery for many years… I normally order the romaine salad. It was always very good and fresh. So this last night… halfway through my salad I bit down on something I thougt it was a rock… pulled it out of my mounth and it was some womans NASTY purple with glitter acrylic FINGERNAIL!!! Just about lost my dinner right then. I immediatly called the manager Eric, requested refund which he agreed to. I soooo won’t be forgetting that experience anytime soon. Thanks so much Brooklyn’s Mckinney for the proof that your food preparers do not wear prep gloves. Gross, and totally unsanitary.

Brooklyns is a nice place to eat. The spaghetti with marinara taste funky. And the guy at the counter didn’t even greet us. I opted for a bottle of diet Pepsi and the one I got expired in Sept. 2011. This place is dead!

Great salads, great pizza, quick and efficient for a fast casual place. It’s quite convenient and reasonably priced. We’ll be back! Oh, calzones are pretty awesome too!

Only place with real homemade pasta! I make my own pasta and they are the only place that comes close! Their pasta is not dried, it is rolled and made fresh! Love the pizza too.

I lowve and iss east coast style pizza and this had been the closet to fill my craving. It’s a little expensive from your basic dominoes or pizza hut. But I love the it standard crispiy crust and I always go with a plain cheese.

As far as pizza out here in TX goes this is one of the best places I’ve had it. Thin and close to what I grew up w in NY. Definitely worth trying. Their slices are cut huge so although the description may say 8 slices it’s really basically double.

I enjoy the pizza and especially the stuffed pizza but the spaghetti was sub par. My girlfriend likes the Queens Alfredo with black olives and mushrooms. Not a fan of their online ordering but it gets the pizza delivered.

There was only one other table in the restaurant, so it wasn’t busy on a Tuesday night. I ordered two cheese pizza slices for my sons and I ordered lasagna. The lasagna was small, but it had good flavor. I like the lasagna as Sicily’s better. There was nothing bad about it, but nothing to make me go back.

Brooklyn’s is a great place to grab pizza, although it’s pretty normal for pizza restaurants with not a lot to single them out in comparison to others. My biggest frustration with them is that they have a full menu and it seems like pizza is the only thing they can do the right way. I got some gnocchi from here before and it was chewy and not well made at all, and even though I had requested no sauce I still got home with the gross gnocchi covered in alfredo sauce. We also ordered caesar salads and basically got a house salad with a side of caesar dressing. Definitely not a caesar salad. I can’t tell if it’s just that they aren’t committed to the other options on their menu, or if they’re just lazy, but I highly recommend sticking to the pizza when you’re here.
