Dr. Chartrand has been instrumental in my good health. He sees one as a whole person. Keep trying to get in it is worth it!

Tina, your selfish reasons seem justified. He is currently not taking new patients. I have been trying to get my son in to see him for the last few months. I am giving him 5 stars because he must be good given all the great reviews I have read of him.

I am almost reluctant to write a wonderful review for selfish reasons– I don’t want him to get so busy that he cannot see us! Truth is, he is a wonderful doctor. I was tired of going to the puppy-mill pediatric offices that treat you like cattle. When you drive up to his office, a positive precedence is set by the charming Victorian home, and not to mention his retro ambulance that he actually drives. When you have an appointment, he spends about ½hour with you. No high school drop outs that are now MA’s. It is him, and his charming British nurse who equally cares. This office is fee-for-service; no insurance, but completely worth it. This doctor is one of the best that I have seen.

Dr. Daniel Chartrand is a brilliant guy, but very down to Earth, and very caring and empathetic. He has a holistic approach and treats the patient as a person with a life, not just an illness, injury, or symptom. His office is a beautiful old Victorian home in a quiet neighborhood in Downtown McKinney. You feel comfortable and at peace as soon as you walk in. His wife and Nurse Judy work the front desk, and he and his family live upstairs. It’s like walking back in time to the old west where people cared about and knew each other, and made you feel at home, but also very modern and new age and clean, and full of high technology and cutting edge techniques. My son, who is 6 and Autistic, also sees Dr. Chartrand. He is very good with men, women, and kids. You really get the feeling that he remembers you and cares about you. He works on payment plans for people without insurance. It’s by far the best experiences I’ve ever had with doctors, or with health care in general. I highly recommend him. He practices Health Maintenance, General Internal Medicine, Pediatric Care, Emergency Care, Office Surgery, Acupuncture, and Anti-Aging Medicine. For more information: 972−542−9142
