Really painfully slow. I love their coffee but the wait is a little crazy. I would just buy the grounds and make it at home. It’s not worth the frustration. It’s just this location, I normally love DD.

I’m going to preface this by stating that I’m not from the North therefore I don’t get the fascination with DD. Manchild is from the Cape though, and apparently up there DD is like Starbucks down here, something sacred and all. I’ve been to this location many times and yesterday super annoyed me. We went through the drive through at 5 pm on Sunday. We ordered an iced coffee and a small white hot chocolate and two donuts. We get to the window and wait. Then we wait some more. I kid you not… we waited almost four minutes without any acknowledgement at the window. A young man finally came over and said«We don’t have white hot chocolate.» Ok. Fine. It shouldn’t be on the menu, but whatever. I corrected it to a salted caramel. Then we continue waiting. Manchild finally honked after another three minutes because we were watching the two young men do ABSOLUTELYNOTHING during this time. He told the young man who came to the window to please hurry up as the line had gotten insane(anyone who’s been here knows this line can get out of hand and impede the way too small parking lot) and we finally get out drinks. Manchild asks about the donuts. They are out. We’ve already been charged. So we have to then wait for them to refund and everything. It took 13 minutes in the end to get two drinks at DD. I know it’s a northern staple, but this location simply blows. One star because my very small(when they say small they mean small) hot cocoa was really good!

Rude service. Employees serving ice cream without wearing gloves… eww. They were out of waffle cones… bummer. When I went to check out, the girl ringing me up did not smile, did not say a word to me or acknowledge me in any way… RUDE. Not going back.

Love their donuts and their coffee even more. Just always slow service and seems to always only have 1 order taker/cashier.

There are stories of Epic employees, who go above and beyond to exceed the expectations of a customer, and thus location has one of those employees. His name is Matt. I have never met someone so full of energy that early in the morning. You can’t interact with him and not leave with a smile on your face. I’d never been a Dunkin fan until I spent 7 months in New England and was excited to hear a Dunkin had opened near me after I returned to Texas. I’m a plain black coffee kinda guy and Dunkin has the best dark roast around for sure. But Matt really makes the mornings gun for this non-morning person.

This location had been open for many years now and still can’t seem to get it together. When we first started going here, tables were a mess and no one attended to the dine in area. We stopped going for many years. I recently started going through the drive thru. Still the same disarray and high turnover. They can’t seem to get my coffee right. It tastes different every time. I’ve been served undercooked bagels and today, an undercooked soggy kolache. I would be very weary of a food service establishment like this one. Never know when you will get contaminated food. Be ware.

2 Customers in the building, and I had to circle the parking lot twice waiting for a spot to open. There simply aren’t enough spots for the three businesses in the plaza. I can’t even imagine it at a really busy time. In general, I think Dunkin’ is overvaluing their product. Their prices are pretty much the same as gas station prices even though economy of scale says that they should be able to price what they do lower or at least produce a far superior product. Their quality is no better than other donut shops that charge far less for pastries and drinks and really not much different than the grocery store. The other problem I had was the sign over the empty donut croissant bins and the video feed showing them on the menu monitor the whole time I was there depite the fact that there wasn’t one available to be purchased.

Donuts were fresh. They had a nice selection considering it was 2 in the afternoon.

Had extremely long wait in drive thru both times I tried. The kolache was just okay and definitely not worth the wait. Won’t be going back.

I’ve visited this location twice this week and both times service has been incredibly slow. My goodness! This morning they had one person making the food orders, only one on a Friday morning(what?!?). Anyway, placed my order as I walked in noticed 4 people ahead of me in line, not bad. I ordered two reg cup of joes, one bagel with cream cheese and an egg wrap. I walked in at 8:22am walked out at 8:45 am how is possible to wait 20+ mins for a toasted bagel and an egg wrap? Ridiculous! I will NOT be coming back. Anyone want the rest of this $ 5 giftcard I got from DD. Not even free will I be back.

Boo, service and quality were poor today at this location. Wait time in line 15 minutes. Once I got there, I placed my order and the guy got the doughnuts. He then told me «It’s cheaper to order a half dozen than rattling them off.» I didn’t realize that I needed to specify I was getting a half dozen… Anyway, got home and 3 of the 6 doughnuts were wet/soggy.

I have never before felt so screwed! If I didn’t have to be at work I would have gone back for my refund. I ordered the Revered Southwest Steak Burrito after having seen all the commercials about it. You know the one where the guys are wearing the goggles because the burrito is so big it is explosive. Well, mine didn’t even have a fizzle. Shoot, It was small I had to look back in the bag to see if one fell out. I had to put the dime on the picture so you would have a reference to it’s size. Ya, that, maybe 3 ounces(at best), had nearly nothing in it. What was in it, I couldn’t eat, it was NASTY! Looked like someone sneezed into a tortilla. It was clear gooey running crap! I have had one of their other breakfast sandwiches, the split sausage and egg one, and it was nothing to write home about. This thing was NASTY! Shame on you Dunkin! $ 2.99 for that! It looked like someone sneezed inside of it. You need better employees who won’t serve crap like that.

Even when there are long lines this is a fast drive thru! My husband goes here very often and when it first opened he got a couple of incorrect drinks but in the last few months everything has always been spot on! I like coming here because I know I’ll get in and out, the parking lot is easily accessible in and out, and the people who work here always seem to be happy! I guess it must be a nice place to work because they’re usually smiling at each other and the customers which makes for a much better experience. Good coffee, good service, good stop for your morning coffee!

Drive thru visit this morning. The line was super long and moved a bit slowly but we don’t mind crowds as they are usually a sign of good grub. Hubs wanted this spicy smoked sausage breakfast sandwich. Sadly, they were out. I wanted hash browns. Sadly, they were out of those too. We ended up order the sausage egg and cheese croissant, the donut sandwich, an iced caramel coffee and a white chocolate latte. The croissant was good. It wasn’t super soft like some croissants, it had some chew. But this was a good chew. The buttery goodness was what you’d expect from a croissant, but not too much goodness. The eggs are interesting; they were like an over easy scramble patty? They seemed processed but that is the industry standard so no foul. The sausage was the same — industry standard patty. All in all this was a good sandwich that I would order again. The donut sandwich had the same egg patty and a few soft, homeless and rejected looking pieces of bacon on it. It was pretty sad and there were barely any sad pieces on the sandwich. If I didn’t get an off lot, the bacon needs an overhaul. Thicker slices with more crisp or chew. Not what appears to be cast off shavings of ham. The donut was warm and soft and not overly glazed. The donut was good enough to make me want another one. The iced coffee was good. Not too sweet. Packed enough punch to make your brain wake up. The vanilla latte was good but a disappointment because they barely filled the cup half way with coffee — not cool. I’d go back. This isn’t my new spot or anything but I’d go back. Hopefully they fill my cup with coffee next time.

If your a parent of children then you will get sucked into going to a donut store. I myself don’t really like donuts, but my boys do so thats we we occasionally come here. On Saturday and Sunday mornings it is always busy and a line to the door. So you need to be incredibly patient if you are going on one of these mornings. The reason I like Dunkin Donuts over other donut stores is the Turkey Sausage Egg White Flatbread. Say what? I can get something healthy at a donut store. Here you can. So I can keep my waistline and not feel guilty about eating here. I’m not a coffee drinker either, but their teas are really good.

Dirty and grimy tables. I’m so glad Starbucks exists. DD has nothing over them. The iced latte is a huge glass of milk with a hint of coffee. The donuts were so so. QuickTrip has better ones. Won’t be back.

I recently moved from New England and I was very happy to see DD come to McKinney. I didn’t want to go to one of those«Donut» shops for my coffee. I will say that the people are nice and friendly… but that is where it stops. They definitely don’t have the process down to handle drive through service(although I can say that about most fast food places in Texas). I could lay my impatience on me being a New Englander, but I was disappointed that the service is very slow and I’ve come to expect better from DD’s. You should not wait any more than 2 minutes for a coffee at the window and I’m lucky if I get out of there in less than 5. I also am not all that impressed with their coffee. It is weaker than I’ve had up north. I’d like to see them fix it.

Stopped at this Dunkin Donuts on 1÷12÷2013 and my experience was really awful. I ordered an egg white flat sandwich, pumpkin cake donut and coffee. My coffee tasted old and had grinds in it, the egg white flat tasted stale and like it had just been heated up instead of prepared fresh and the pumpkin cake donut actually made me gasp. It was the most unnatural orange color I have ever seen in a food. I took one small bite and the flavor matched the color… artificial. So I threw the donut, the other half of the sandwich and the rest of the coffee in the trash. There are too many good donut places in town to waste my time here. I have been here several times in the past and it was OK, but this experience made it the last time I’ll be back here.

I love their donuts(as you would expect, right?), and the employees are very friendly. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is it’s just not the cleanest place. I’ve come in at different times of the day and the tables inevitably need to be wiped down, the floors are a mess, and the bathrooms aren’t stocked. Having said that, I keep coming back even though my waistline says I shouldn’t. ;-)
