Intersect Church

Nice pastor. Friendly people but small and not many youth but they do have some programs. Also, the sanctuary can get a bit loud because it’s small and because even though their band has great music, they also have strong speakers. The pastor is very knowledgeable and gives all his sermons by memory because he’s blind. He quotes verbatim from the bible when teaching. Fantastic speaker and teacher. I understand he studied with pastor Swindoll of Stonebriar Church. This is a new church though and doesn’t have its own facility yet so they rent space from the daycare building on weekends. Definitely needs to grow in order to offer more programs, but it’s cozy, friendly and they will call you if you are a newcomer who fills out their visitor card. This church has great potential. Oh, they also provide donuts, coffee and other baked goods before service. Perfect for fellowship before service.

I had been looking for a church home ever since I moved to the Dallas area about two years ago, and had been overwhelmed by the plethora of mega churches that were everywhere. Growing up in a smaller church, I was used to a church having a strong, close-​knit community. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find that same sense of community in some of the larger churches I came across. This wasn’t the case with Intersect church though. Intersect is a young church that has the feel of family to it. I’ve only been there a couple of months, but it feels like I’ve been there a lot longer because I’m getting to know the hearts of a good bit of people. The whole idea behind the «Intersect» concept is that this church is a place where lives come together and connect in the name of Jesus, and that is exactly what this church does best. This is what God had in mind in Acts with the birth of the church. We were never meant to be alone in our walks with Christ: we are relational beings and need a church where we can cultivate relationships with other believers. Intersect is a church after God’s own heart, and it’s growing because of this. I highly recommend coming out and seeing just what Intersect is all about!

This church is phenomenal !!!. I felt very welcome here. The members are sweet and genuine. Worship is amazing. Church is currently growing and it won’t take long before it becomes a huge congregation ! Church is full of the Holy Spirit ! Don’t miss out !

We’ve floated around to many churches before this one found us. They hosted a «parents night out» event and that was our first meeting. A year or so later, I decided to check it out and enjoyed the sermon and the people seemed very friendly and welcoming. Pastor Brian called me a few days later and we had a discussion about what frustrated me about the churches in this area (lack of acceptance of different people of all sins, churches that preached against a few «pet» sins and nothing else, hypocritical, etc) and the more I talked with the Pastor, the better I felt about attending.
Yes this is a small «start up» church (it won’t be for long, it’s growing quite well!), but the music is good, the message is blessed, and the people are open and accepting. Come check it out – you won’t be disappointed!
