This little jewel is tucked away in a tiny strip mall. The people are lovely and the food is even better. If you are in a hurry don’t go. Everything is freshly made and wonderful. We will make this a regular on our agenda.

Awesome! Décor: Very well decorated… great for a date, family dinner or any other dining situation. Service: Top notch! Our appetizer came out immediately after getting our drinks, less then a minute after finishing our app our dinner was on table. The drinks were always full, the waitress gave us great recommendations and the manager came over and checked on us and our dining experience. Food: The food was delicious! Everything we tried was great! No complaints! The vegetables were crisp and fresh, meat and seafood was cooked perfectly and the noodles weren’t over done and mushy. Nothing bad to say about this place! Great dining experience from top to bottom! Thanks!

Had the Chicken Pad Thai and the Steamed Dumplings– they were both extra delicious. The wait time was a bit long for a lunch hour– but it was worth the wait. I would definitely return to try out some of the teas and more of the food– I recommend this for a great weekend lunch /dinner. I would stay away at lunch time unless you have a longer lunch than usual.

Good service. Average food. Tried the roti curry last night. It was sweet even though I asked for a 3.5÷5 spice level. It was supposed to have chicken in it but I could barely find any. Hope they fix that! Ambience was good though.

Noodle Wave is a great Thai cuisine restaurant! The atmosphere is great filled with art and designs. The Tomtom soup is great; except there are some stuff that are overwhelming to eat such ginger. The broth is really good, they should cook the broth with some of the spices in kind of like a tea bag. The pineapple fried rice was kind of bland, not too much flavor to it. I am not a fan of pad thai noodle, but I actually liked it, kind of spicy and sweet at the same time! FOOD: 4⁄5 SERVICE: 4⁄5 AMBIANCE: 4⁄5

This was my first visit to this Noodle Wave. I enjoyed the flavor, presentation, service and ambiance. The main reason my rating is low is because I specifically requested no MSG in the food, and although they agreed, they still used MSG in their curries. This may be okay for folks that can tolerate it, but I’m not one of those folks. I will not be returning for this reason. Like most Asian restaurants, they may deny using MSG, but I certainly know the difference. The usual dry mouth and stomach troubles.

This location is normally decent. Today I ordered Basil Fried Rice w/Shrimp & Basil Fried Rice w/Chicken. Both were made with sticky rice. When call the restaurant to inform them, they asked me to bring it back… Let’s see how works out.?.

This is a gem in an area filled with mostly chain restaurants and dives who serve pre-packaged slop. We came here to get some«real food» and came out happy. Pad Thai and Southern Rice Curry were both great, and they have adult-portion-sized bento box kids meals that come with good ice cream(including mango, coconut and cinnamon along with the standard flavors). The vibe is comfortable and trendy and you feel like thought went into both the décor and food. Quite good for the region!

I’ve been to the one in Spring Valley and was pretty impressed with that place, so I figured it would be the same and it would be an added plus that it was so close to home. It was pretty busy for a Monday evening. We had a party of 7, therefore we needed to wait. My husband and I ordered a set of curry puffs, the pineapple fried rice, and the soft shell crab noodle dish, and 2 Thai teas. Curry Puffs: The pastry was crispy and warm. It wasn’t very spicy and tasted pretty good, but make sure you pour some of the sauce onto it. Pineapple Fried Rice: Not very impressive. Not very flavorful, with an average amount of meat and veggies cooked in it. The pineapples weren’t sweet so perhaps it was real pineapple instead of the can. It was a generous portion however, because I could only eat half of it. Soft Shell Crab: The crab was good, although it wasn’t crispy by the time it arrived on the table. The accompanying noodles were delicious with the right amount of seasoning and flavor, but it’s the thin vermicelli noodles. Overall: This place wasn’t too bad, but it wasn’t great either. I would come back to try the curry dishes, because that’s what I ate at another location and that tasted really good.

I had an unbelievable craving for Asian Cuisine. I Facebook and texted several people for ideas but went with my gut to try«Noodle Wave» in McKinney. My instincts paid off. The atmosphere was warm and the staff was helpful and pleasant. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but they had a lunch menu, with dessert for $ 10.95. I decided to try it and OMG, it was WONDEFUL! The food was plentiful, plated beautifully and tasted even better. The plate offered a generous portion of rice, green curry chicken, pad thai, spring roll, edible garnish and ice cream for dessert. I opted for fried rice and paid a $ 2 difference. Everything was absolutely yummy. I have no complaints at all!

Oh my goodness, a co-worker recommended we go here for lunch the other day and it was DELICIOUS!!! I was a little skeptical but it was so good. Portions were large; if I had a little more restraint I could have saved enough for lunch the next day but I’m a glutton and ate most of my dish. At lunchtime you get a complimentary cup of their soup of the day and man, it was almost the most delicious thing I had there despite the fact that it was free! Service was swift, which was good since we were on a break from work, but our waitress could have been a tad friendlier. Oh well, it wasn’t bad enough that I won’t be back!

We have a favorite Thai place in Frisco but decided to come here while our car was being serviced at a local dealership. The waitstaff are friendly and courteous, and the food is good. We showed up at 1:30 on a Saturday, and they were not very busy. I had the pad thai with chicken and tofu, which was very good. It is a huge portion, though, definitely big enough for two(I took most of mine to go!). My boyfriend had the Yellow Curry with Chicken, which comes with Jasmine rice, and ordered brown rice. I don’t really like yellow curry, but this was really quite tasty! Again, huge portion big enough for two people. He also took most of his home. We did order the summer rolls as an appetizer, which were okay. The peanut sauce that comes with them is fabulous, and made the summer rolls taste better. All in all a very nice experience. We will eat here again if we are in the area, but will not come to McKinney solely to eat here.

Can’t believe I have not written a review for Noodle Wave! My absolute favorite Thai restaurant in the area. The curries rock and they have the best rotis! Buttery, flaky goodness. Lots to choose from on the menu, great ambiance and service to boot. This is a great family dinner or even date place since it is so nicely decorated and clean. Downsides? They do no allow alcohol. Meaning they won’t even let you BYOB and will ask you to take it out of the restaurant. Yes, it happened to us. We had to put our wine back in the car. At least it makes it a cheaper meal LOL. Finally, not the owners fault but it is a little painful to get to given all the construction mess on 75 and it has been like that for 5+ years!

This place is by far my favorite Thai place, not only in McKinney but in the Allen, Frisco, McKinney area. The food is fresh, plated beautifully and served by friendly wait staff. Don’t skip their Coconut Ice Cream, you’ll be SORRY because it’s AMAZING!

This is the second location of Noodle Wave. The original location is off spring creek and coit. I wish I can say this location is just as good as the original location, but it’s not. The portions are smaller and I think its on the sweeter side. The decorations are super chic here though and the restaurant is really clean. I would eat here if I am in the area, but I wouldn’t drive out here just to eat here. The construction on 75 doesn’t help either. Some times it’s confusing to figure out how to get to the parking lot.

A very solid restaurant on the side of hwy 75 that under normal circumstances would be easy to get to. But due to the craziness that is Mckinney construction, might require a little bit more patience. The menu actually had a lot of items that I rarely see at other Thai restaurants, and Lily F. is a sucker for trying the new stuff. Typically, a large menu seems overwhelming to me but Noodle Wave’s had a lot of interesting items that intrigued me to where I would want to come back. I opted for the southern rice curry. Yellow sticky, sweet rice with shredded coconut with a spicy curry with potatoes. My buddy ordered the Singapore noodles and it tasted very flavorful, not greasy or heavy like most places. Mckinney– Finish your construction soon so I can come visit you more!

IMPORTANT! This is good food. That being said, I have an issue with the free ice cream for desert offer. If you show them your Facebook page and like them, you get a free dip. Now, I don’t Facebook but I do Unilocal which I believe is just as beneficial to their business. So Mr/Mrs Owner, how about a free dip for a good Unilocal review? I have been here several times and the food is always great. The preparation is always thoughtful with fresh ingredients and good service. Their locations are convenient and you will be glad you enjoyed dinner or lunch here.
